<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> About the job Crane Technician <p>Implement Production Optimization:&nbsp;<span>To execute all scheduled (day-to-day, preventive) maintenance, corrective maintenance and major repairs of the equipment's in order to optimize production &amp; minimize Material Handling down time for maintenance related development works</span></p><br><p>Facilitate Corrective Action:&nbsp;<span></span><span>Responsible for trouble shooting during breakdowns of mechanical equipment's and provide the assistance to find out the root cause for corrective action maintenance related development works.</span></p><br><p>Prevent System Abnormalities:&nbsp;<span>Responsible for attending mechanical maintenance problems during breakdowns in the Material Handling. To communicate to superiors of any abnormalities found in the mill in order to plan &amp; rectify the same.</span></p><br> <p>Meet Engineering/ Safety Principles:&nbsp;<span>Inspection of equipment's to meet engineering principles and safety regulations in maintenance related development works.</span></p><br> <p>Assistance &amp; Support:</p><br> <p>· To assist and help the Superiors in all technical areas to ensure smooth maintenance of the Material Handling for uninterrupted production and co-ordination with other departments.</p><br> <p>Following Standards:&nbsp;<span>Follow mechanical maintenance standards for all equipment in the Material Handling.</span></p><br> <p>Observe Health, Safety and Environmental practices:&nbsp;<span>To follow all relevant safety, quality, health and environmental management policies, procedures applicable to maintenance related development.</span></p><br><p><span>Minimum Education Qualifications:&nbsp;I.T.I. in Mechanical Fitter trade</span></p><br><p><span>Professional Experience:&nbsp;3-5 years experience in Mechanical&nbsp;maintenance of Steel Plant</span></p><br><p>Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities (attributes) required:&nbsp;<span>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required.</span></p><br> <p>· Technical knowledge of predictive &amp; preventive maintenance of EOT Crane / Jib Crane.</p><br> <p>· Knowledge &amp; Skill of Trouble Shooting of EOT Crane / Jib Crane.</p><br> <p>· Understanding of engineering drawings and Hydraulic circuits.</p><br> <p>· Works with hand tools, measuring tools, portable tools and tackles.</p><br> <p>· Fluency in spoken and written English language.</p><br><p><span><br></span></p><br> <br> <br> </div>
