<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p>JOB PURPOSE:</p><p>The Data Center Electrical Facility Engineer will be the responsible for Data Center Engineering</p><p>Operations within a Data Center including risk management and mitigation, corrective and preventative</p><p>maintenance of critical infrastructure, vendor management and metric reporting. He is responsible for</p><p>ensuring that all Electrical, ELV, and fire/life safety equipment within the data center is operating at peak</p><p>efficiency. This involves both planned preventative maintenance of equipment, daily corrective work,</p><p>and emergency response to emergent issues. They are expected to be a singular focal point for all</p><p>Electrical related facility operations within a given data center. Data center equipment that supports</p><p>mission-critical servers must maintain better than 99.999% uptime. This equipment includes, but is not</p><p>limited to, stand-by diesel generators, switchgear, UPSs, PDUs, and building automation systems.</p><p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:</p><ul><li><p>Responsible for the on-site management of DC, sub-contractors and vendors, ensuring that all work</p></li></ul><p>performed is in accordance with established practices, procedures & Site local legislation.</p><ul><li><p>Establish performance benchmarks, conduct analyses, and prepare reports on all aspects of the</p></li></ul><p>critical facility infrastructure operations and maintenance.</p><ul><li><p>Generate job cards & incident management tickets for Data Center facility.</p></li><li><p>Work with DCO managers and other business leaders to coordinate projects, manage capacity, and</p></li></ul><p>optimize plant safety, performance, reliability, sustainability and efficiency.</p><ul><li><p>Establish documentation relevant to business & facility operations.</p></li><li><p>Manage routine maintenance and emergency services on a variety of critical systems such as:</p></li></ul><p>switchgear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, building monitoring systems,</p><p>etc.</p><ul><li><p>Assist in the design, implementation, commissioning and build out of new facilities.</p></li><li><p>Drive & implement projects to increase current facility capacity, efficiency, sustainability & reliability.</p></li><li><p>Management of the DC, in the provision of infrastructure & inventory asset management.</p></li><li><p>Review DC contract compliance & ensure all SLA’s are achieved.</p></li><li><p>Business interface with DC Management for day to day operational requirements.</p></li><li><p>Assist in recruiting efforts.</p></li><li><p>Manage DC to resolve of any infrastructure Electrical engineering issues.</p></li><li><p>Delivery of exceptional customer service and satisfaction.</p></li><li><p>Maintain, operate all Electrical systems and associated equipment, electrical equipment, building</p></li></ul><p>management system.</p><ul><li><p>Perform facility inspections and report on condition affecting operations</p></li><li><p>Create the Job cards in CAFM App as per Site requirements and follow up the Job cards until close</p></li></ul><p>by the Technician</p><ul><li><p>Responding promptly and efficiently to emergencies calls.</p></li><li><p>Prepare and submit Monthly reports of conditions in buildings and recommend actions to be taken</p></li><li><p>Review and understand equipment and methods of operation, Electrical systems, ELV system,</p></li></ul><p>fire/life safety, and other systems.</p><ul><li><p>Comply with all safety procedures and requirements</p></li><li><p>Maintain essential stock of spare parts.</p></li><li><p>Support any afterhours building needs and activities as required</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with datacenter guidelines and standards especially Tier III design standards and</p></li></ul><p>ASME/ASHRAE/NFPA.</p><ul><li><p>Ability to handle rotation Shifts on Monthly basis.</p></li><li><p>JOB PURPOSE:</p><p>The Data Center Electrical Facility Engineer will be the responsible for Data Center Engineering</p><p>Operations within a Data Center including risk management and mitigation, corrective and preventative</p><p>maintenance of critical infrastructure, vendor management and metric reporting. <p>- Proven experience in performance tuning of data flows, ETL processes, and complex SQL queries.</p><br>
<p>- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively within cross-functional <span>teams.</span></p><br>
<p>- Experience in the airlines or aviation domain is preferred.</p><br>
<p>- Hands-on experience with Amazon Redshift, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and AWS cloud services is preferred.</p><br>
<p>- Proficiency in English; strong written and verbal communication skills required for a client-facing, on-site engagement.</p><br>
