As an Assistant Manager, you will help lead the delivery of high-impact ethics and compliance solutions for clients, taking ownership of workstreams and engagements while supervising and developing junior team members. This is an opportunity to work at the front line of compliance transformation, investigations, and risk management within a dynamic, client-facing team.</p><br><p><strong>What our team delivers</strong></p><br><ul> <li>Design, implementation, and enhancement of Ethics & Compliance frameworks</li> <li>Compliance transformation initiatives and target operating model design</li> <li>Compliance and forensic investigations (e.g. fraud, misconduct)</li> <li>Third-party risk management and due diligence processes</li> <li>Compliance risk assessments and gap analyses with actionable remediation plans</li> <li>Alignment with global and local regulatory requirements across all deliverables</li> <li>Insight on emerging compliance risks, enforcement trends, and industry guidance — particularly within the energy and oil & gas sectors</li></ul><p><strong>Key responsibilities</strong></p><br><ul> <li><strong>Client delivery:</strong> Lead the design and delivery of compliance frameworks, investigations, risk assessments, and due diligence engagements, ensuring deliverables meet regulatory standards and client expectations.</li> <li><strong>Engagement management:</strong> Own the day-to-day management of client engagements — planning, budgeting, quality, and timelines — while supervising and mentoring Senior Consultants and junior staff.</li> <li><strong>Regulatory expertise:</strong> Maintain a strong, current understanding of relevant regulations and industry trends, and act as a point of reference for the team.</li> <li><strong>Business development:</strong> Identify opportunities for Ethics & Compliance services, contribute to proposals, and participate in client pitches.</li> <li><strong>Reporting & stakeholder management:</strong> Report progress and status to the engagement manager and leadership, and manage client relationships at working level.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications & experience</strong></p><br><ul> <li>6+ years of relevant experience in Forensic, Ethics & Compliance, or Risk Management, ideally within a consulting, advisory, or regulated industry environment</li> <li>Demonstrated experience managing workstreams or engagements and leading junior team members</li> <li>Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks, investigation methodologies, and regulatory requirements</li> <li>Relevant professional certifications (e.g. CFE, CCEP, ICA, or similar) are an advantage</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Arabic is a plus</li> <li>Sector exposure to energy / oil & gas is desirable</li></ul><br> </div>
<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p>The FSRA is responsible for the regulation of Financial Services providers in the ADGM and for the supervision of regulated activities. The Supervision Division consists of the Supervision Section and the Markets Section.</p><p>The Supervision Division consists of the Supervision Department and the Markets Department.</p><p>The Supervision Department is responsible for the supervision of banks, insurance companies, money service providers and capital markets. The Supervision Department follows a holistic, proactive risk-based approach to supervision of financial service providers falling under its remit.</p><p>The Manager - Supervision (Fund and Asset Management) is a role within the Supervision Department. The role holder is responsible, in close liaison with the Senior Manager and Directors for the supervision of a portfolio of financial institutions active in the Fund Management and / or Asset Management sectors. The Manager is expected to execute the FSRA risk based supervisory approach, as well as contribute to the enhancement of supervisory procedures and regulatory framework as required. The Manager Supervision will be expected to be a key member of the supervision team and work effectively with all colleagues.</p><br><p><strong>Operational responsibilities</strong></p><p>Responsible for effective supervision of relevant financial institutions within the FSRA risk-based supervisory plan</p><p>Make appropriate use of supervisory tools such as on-site / off-site reviews, third parties reviews, information requests etc.</p><p>Contribute to the periodic risk assessment of firms in line with Supervisory work plan, including the planning and execution of supervisory reviews, and drafting and communication of recommendations</p><p>Review regulatory submissions made by relevant financial institutions.</p><p>Produce risk analysis based on the data provided by asset / fund managers.</p><p>Manage the receipt, acknowledgement and processing of fund related submissions.</p><p>Assess applications and notifications made to the Regulator by Authorised Persons and create recommendations for line management consideration.
