<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> <span></span><p>Closing date: 17/08/2026&nbsp;<br> Number of positions: 1<br> Recruiter name:&nbsp;Larla Anne Brazil Landicho&nbsp;<br> Reference number: 72309&nbsp;<br> Workplace Type:&nbsp;</p><br> <p>Mediclinic Parkview Hospital&nbsp;| Dubai | United Arab Emirates</p><br> <b>MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB</b> <br><p><span><span><span>To ensure that quality and safe patient care is delivered by co-ordinating and facilitating the management of clinical and non-clinical resources as well as support services in the facility </span></span></span></p><br> <br><br><b>KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS</b> <br><ol> <li><span><span><span>Provide managerial and leadership guidance to all multidisciplinary team members to ensure quality and safe patient care during shift </span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>To activate, co-ordinate and manage all clinical or non-clinical emergencies</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>To provide effective and efficient operational guidance and support in the absence of Unit Manager or Head of Department</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>To achieve the clinical quality according to set policies and procedures</span></span></span></li> <li><span><span><span>To ensure positive patient experiences by developing employees and creating an environment that contributes to team engagement</span></span></span></li> </ol> <br><br><b>REQUIRED EDUCATION</b> <br><p><span><span><span>Essential: Bachelor of Nursing from a recognised Nursing Institute</span></span></span></p><br> <p><span><span><span>Desired: Master of Science in Nursing or related Healthcare field</span></span></span></p><br> <br><br><b>REQUIRED EXPERIENCE</b> <br><p><span><span><span>Essential: At least 3-5 years’ senior nursing experience, preferably in a private hospital</span></span></span></p><br> <p><span><span><span>Experience as Duty Manager/ Shift In Charge/ Nursing Supervisor in a hospital setting</span></span></span></p><br><br><br><b>REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE</b> <br><ul><li>Application of the nursing scope of practice </li><li>Comprehensive knowledge of patient care across disciplines </li><li>Comprehensive knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements </li><li>Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications </li><li>Delivery of advanced nursing care in emergency or complicated situations </li><li>Financial management principles </li><li>Quality management and governance standards and best practice </li><li>Risk management principles, systems and best practice </li><li>Utilisation of relevant clinical equipment </li><li>Verbal and written communication skills in English </li></ul><br><br><p>All applicants will be considered, with the understanding that preference will be given to the designated groups in accordance with the United Arab Emirates Emiratization Program.
