If you have a passion for EPC and marine construction and want to work on some of the region’s most exciting projects, find your next challenge with us.</p><br><br>Responsibilities:<br><ul><li>Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all electrical, electronic, automation, and instrumentation systems onboard the Cutter Suction Dredger.</li><li>Ensure the safe and reliable operation of power generation, power distribution, dredging electrical systems, propulsion auxiliaries, and vessel automation.</li><li>Carry out planned preventive maintenance and corrective repairs in accordance with the Planned Maintenance System (PMS).</li><li>Diagnose and rectify faults on PLCs, VFDs, MCCs, switchboards, generators, motors, sensors, alarms, and control systems.</li><li>Maintain electrical systems associated with cutter drives, dredge pumps, jet pumps, spud systems, winches, hydraulic controls, and auxiliary machinery.</li><li>Monitor electrical load distribution, insulation integrity, protection systems, and the overall health of electrical equipment to ensure uninterrupted dredging operations.</li><li>Maintain emergency electrical systems, UPS units, batteries, navigation lights, communication equipment, and safety alarms.</li><li>Keep accurate maintenance records, electrical drawings, calibration records, and spare parts inventory for all electrical equipment.</li><li>Ensure compliance with ISM Code, Class, Flag State requirements, company procedures, and applicable electrical safety regulations.</li><li>Apply Permit-to-Work (PTW), Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO), and other electrical isolation procedures before carrying out maintenance activities.</li><li>Coordinate closely with the Chief Engineer, Dredge Master, and deck and engine departments to support continuous and efficient dredging operations.</li><li>Supervise and provide technical guidance to Electrical Ratings, trainees, and contractors during maintenance and repair activities.</li><li>Participate in emergency drills and provide technical support during breakdowns and emergency situations.</li><li>Identify recurring equipment issues, recommend technical improvements, and contribute to enhancing vessel reliability and operational performance.</li><li>Perform any other duties assigned by the Chief Engineer to support the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.</li></ul><br>Qualifications:<br><p>Bachelor's degree in electrical/Electronics &amp; Automation Engineering.</p><br><p>5-10 years' experience on Dredger or in heavy industries with automation.</p><br><p>Basic STCW training certification with medical fitness certificate.</p><br> </div>
