Falcor Engineering & Contracting Services is seeking an experienced Estimation Engineer (Instrumentation) to lead the preparation of technical and commercial bids for major Oil & Gas EPC projects.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in instrumentation estimation, tendering, cost analysis, subcontractor/vendor management, and bid preparation within the UAE Oil & Gas sector.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Lead and coordinate the preparation of technical and commercial bid submissions for Instrumentation and Control System projects.
✅ Review tender documents, specifications, drawings, and scope requirements to ensure bid completeness and compliance.
✅ Participate in pre-bid meetings, post-bid meetings, site surveys, and client clarification discussions.
✅ Prepare and verify detailed Material Take-Offs (MTOs) and quantity take-offs for instrumentation works.
✅ Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors, obtain quotations, perform technical and commercial evaluations, and prepare bid comparison sheets.
✅ Collaborate with Project, HSE, Quality, Planning, Procurement, Finance, and other departments to obtain required bid inputs.
✅ Develop detailed cost estimates, including direct and indirect costs, manpower, materials, subcontracting, and project execution requirements.
✅ Identify project risks and establish appropriate contingency allowances within the estimate.
✅ Ensure technical and commercial proposals fully comply with client specifications and tender requirements.
✅ Present bid summaries and cost estimates to management for review and approval.
