<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> <span>Job Title <br>Quality Controller<br><br>Job Scope <br></span><p><span><span><span>The Quality Controller is responsible for auditing Retail Shops and Service Centers according to the audit plan, performing regular evaluations of products and repairs, recording inspections and results, and recommending improvements based on findings.</span></span></span></p><br><br><br>Main Duties and Responsibilities <br><ul> <li>Conduct weekly visits and audit the Retail Shops as per the retail audit program to ensure effective and efficient operating procedures in respect of sales, cash handling, stock management, trade-in process, fixed assets management, security, adherence to Apple planogram and to the shop manual issued by Head Office;</li> <li>Conduct weekly visits and audit the Service Centers and the quality of repairs to ensure the smooth functioning of operations based on Apple Service Provider Manual, Operational Procedures, Service News, GSX, Apple guidelines (retail and service), and other updates set and released by Apple;</li> <li>Follow a checklist of tasks to be performed in the shop or service branch;</li> <li>Check employees / Technicians’ certifications status and compliance;</li> <li>Check tools availability and status;</li> <li>Inspect between 20 to 50 total KBBs, highlight and report issues found;</li> <li>Inspect full repair cycle from creation until closure;</li> <li>Guide the Technicians about issues found, explaining the root cause;</li> <li>Explain important OPs to Technicians and Managers when required;</li> <li>Present findings to the local Manager;</li> <li>Recommend improvements to the repair process to ensure quality control;</li> <li>Monitor CCTV and follow-up on repairs;</li> <li>Document and record inspections;</li> <li>Examine financial records and documentation to prepare audit reports;</li> <li>Present findings to the upper Management in the forms of reports or presentations;</li> <li>Generate and analyze all the necessary reports as advised by the Management;</li> <li>Support with Vendor audit when required.</li> </ul><br><br>Position Requirements <br><br>Education <br><p><span><span><span>Bachelor's degree in Engineering</span></span></span></p><br><br><br>Experience <br><p>- Apple Certified Macintosh or IOS technician.<br>- Good oral and written communication skills (English is a must).<br>- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.<br>- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with CRM systems.<br>- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive financial information.</p><br> <p>#LI-LM1</p><br><br><br><br> </div>

<ul><li><p>Supervise, coordinate, and allocate repair and maintenance work to technicians to maximize workshop productivity and efficiency.</p></li><li><p>Monitor workshop operations to ensure repairs and servicing are completed to the highest quality standards and within agreed timelines.</p></li><li><p>Drive First Time Fix Rate (FTFR) and minimize repeat repairs through effective quality control processes.</p></li><li><p>Support Service Advisors in delivering an exceptional customer experience through accurate repair information and on-time vehicle delivery.</p></li><li><p>Monitor job card progress, workshop loading, technician productivity, and efficiency.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with OEM standards, company policies, warranty processes, and audit requirements.</p></li><li><p>Coach, mentor, and develop technicians to improve technical capability and performance.</p></li><li><p>Promote and maintain HSSE standards and ensure a safe working environment with a zero-incident mindset.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with Parts, Service Reception, Warranty, and Management teams to ensure smooth workshop operations.</p></li><li><p>Analyze workshop performance and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li><p>Strong workshop leadership and people management capabilities.</p></li><li><p>Excellent workshop planning and workload allocation skills.</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of automotive repair processes and workshop operations.</p></li><li><p>Ability to monitor and improve productivity, efficiency, and quality KPIs.</p></li><li><p>Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.</p></li><li><p>Ability to coach, mentor, and motivate technical teams.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of DMS systems such as SAP or equivalent platforms.</p></li><li><p>Strong focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced aftersales environment.</p></li></ul><br><p><strong>What equips you for the role:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Technical Certification, Diploma, ITI, ATA, IMI, or equivalent Automotive qualification.</p></li><li><p>EV Certification (IMI EV Level 2 or higher preferred).</p></li><li><p>Minimum 5–7 years of automotive workshop experience.</p></li><li><p>Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience within a dealership or automotive workshop environment.</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of workshop operations, vehicle repair processes, and technician management.</p></li><li><p>Experience using SAP, DMS, or equivalent workshop management systems.</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of workshop KPIs including productivity, efficiency, utilization, and First Time Fix Rate.</p></li><li><p>Valid UAE Driving Licence.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.</p></li><li><p>Fluency in English; Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu would be advantageous.</p></li><li><p>Commitment to HSSE standards and continuous improvement.</p></li></ul>
