<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles &amp; Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><ul><li><p>Supervise and lead the maintenance team to ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and GMP standards.</p></li><li><p>Plan, coordinate, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment availability and minimize downtime.</p></li><li><p>Organize maintenance schedules, spare parts availability, and utility maintenance with support from the Technical Supervisor.</p></li><li><p>Monitor the performance and reliability of production equipment, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.</p></li><li><p>Assign daily maintenance tasks, monitor work progress, and ensure timely completion of planned maintenance activities.</p></li><li><p>Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment history, and daily activity reports.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate effectively with Production, Quality, Engineering, and other departments to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations, reporting and investigating unsafe conditions or incidents.</p></li><li><p>Drive root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.</p></li><li><p>Promote best maintenance practices, mentor team members, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.</p></li></ul></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Technical Diploma holders with strong relevant experience may also be considered).</p></li><li><p>Minimum <strong>7 years of maintenance experience</strong> in an FMCG manufacturing environment, preferably within bottled water or beverage production.</p></li><li><p>Hands-on experience with <strong>Krones, Sidel, KHS, SMI</strong>, or other European bottling and packaging equipment.</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, utilities maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment reliability.</p></li><li><p>Experience working with ERP systems such as <strong>SAP</strong> or <strong>Oracle</strong> for maintenance planning and inventory management.</p></li><li><p>Good understanding of <strong>Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)</strong>, food safety, and industrial health &amp; safety standards.</p></li><li><p>Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise, motivate, and develop maintenance technicians.</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to reducing equipment failures and improving operational efficiency.</p></li><li><p>Excellent planning, communication, and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.</p></li><li><p>Previous experience working in the <strong>UAE/GCC</strong> and familiarity with the bottled water manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.</p></li></ul><p></p></section>
