<p><b>Overview Of The Role:</b></p><p>The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing the financial controlling function across UAE, Qatar, and Oman. This includes collaborating with various stakeholders such as business units, GBS, group entities, and external partners to ensure effective management of accounting, reporting, compliance, and auditing activities. <p>The Accountant, Research Accounting, supports the Research Accounting Manager in the financial administration of research and executive education projects. The incumbent will work closely with staff across the University, including the Finance Office, Research Office, Research Centers, Colleges, and Principal Investigators (PIs), to ensure the accurate and timely management of research-related financial activities. The role also involves coordinating with external funding agencies, auditors, and other stakeholders, as required.</p><br>

<li>Process grant setup, grant extensions, and other system updates within the Oracle PPM module.</li>
<li>Ensure that invoices to external sponsors are prepared and processed accurately and in a timely manner.</li>

<li>Prepare and allocate indirect cost allocation (IDC) /overhead earned on projects.</li>
<li>Prepare the monthly payroll add-on schedule</li>

This includes conducting regular meetings and performance management activities to ensure interim and annual reviews are completed on time.</span></li><li><span>Review and address aged items and discrepancies, liaising with relevant parties to implement corrective actions and following the escalation process where necessary. Conduct periodic reviews of station profiles to ensure they are complete, relevant, and up to date.</span></li><li><span>Provide necessary feedback for Finance Reviews and internal audits as required.
