<p>The AML Compliance Officer (AMLCO) manages multiple teams through other managers. In-depth understanding of how own sub-function contributes to achieving the objectives of the function. A good understanding of the industry, direct competitors' products and services, is also necessary in order to contribute to the commercial objectives of the business. Requires thorough understanding of strategic direction of the function within the relevant part of the business, combined with a solid conceptual/practical grounding in both the function and/or area of expertise and related subject areas. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication/negotiation may be necessary. Responsible for executing functional strategy in area managed. Determines approach to implementing functional strategy. Accountable for end results, budgeting, planning, policy formulation and contribution to future strategy of the area(s). Impact reflects size of team managed, strategic influence on the business and interaction with other functions or businesses. Full management responsibility for multiple teams, including management of people, budget and planning, to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval. Confirm that reviews are conducted consistently across each entity on a regular basis to validate that the controls identified are operating effectively.</li><li>Develop and improve upon the Governance and Escalation framework to inform senior management in a timely manner of emerging issues for promptly action and correction.</li><li>Establish a formal Feedback Channel with the Businesses, Internal Audit and Compliance Assurance to validate that root cause analysis is performed proactively and communicated to relevant stakeholders through the established channel. In addition, review, consolidate, address, and track to resolution significant issues identified through root cause analysis to senior management. Furthermore, validate that the feedback / root causes from various channels is consolidated and shared within Compliance to allow for enhancements to Policy/Standards and Learning & Development, as necessary.</li><li>Continually review and monitor the results from Manager Control Assessments (MCAs) to determine if changes are required.</li><li>Liaise with US and foreign regulators externally and Citi Internal Audit and Compliance Assurance staff, as appropriate, including coordinating AML-related examinations, audit and reviews, document production, and issue responses - to confirm that there is consistency in responses and issues are communicated across regions, such that actions and conclusions are shared.</li><li>Provide adequate training is provided to the Business lines and other AML Compliance employees, and, as needed, participate in the design and delivery of training as required, to inform employees of the objectives of the program.</li><li>Lead and manage a diverse team of staff across multiple locations; Setting and Reporting<br>The Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS) is a global intergovernmental treaty aimed at the conservation and sustainable use of migratory species and their habitats. Numerous additional intergovernmental instruments on migratory species conservation have been adopted under the broad umbrella of CMS and are supported by the CMS Secretariat. The CMS Secretariat also serves as the Secretariat for the Agreement on the Conservation of Small Cetaceans of the Baltic, North East Atlantic, Irish and North Seas (ASCOBANS). In addition, two regional agreements adopted under CMS have their own Secretariats, which are co-located with the CMS Secretariat in Bonn: the Agreement on the Conservation of African-Eurasian Migratory Waterbirds (AEWA) and the Agreement on the Conservation of Populations of European Bats (EUROBATS). The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is the designated entity within the United Nations system for addressing environmental issues at the global and regional levels. Promote interest in and mobilize financial and in-kind resources for the Raptors MOU and its associated processes and initiatives by: a. Developing and executing a communications strategy b. Developing and executing a resource mobilization strategy c. Developing new and deepening existing partnerships with intergovernmental organisations (IGOs), non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and other entities as appropriate; d. Representing the Raptors MOU in international meetings and conferences e. Representing the Raptors MOU in meetings and conferences within the United Arab Emirates the Coordinating Unit's host country 3. Identify opportunities to capture synergies with other international initiatives and processes by: a. Collaborating proactively with the CMS Secretariat, in particular its Avian Unit, including to capture synergies with respect to Implementation, and to provide contributions to the CMS Conference of the Parties, Standing Committee and Scientific Council as appropriate b. Liaising with Raptors MOU Focal Points, TAG members and key stakeholders and experts from IGOs, NGOs and the raptor research and conservation community c. Liaising with organisations and the research and conservation community in the United Arab Emirates 4. Undertake finance, administrative and supervisory responsibilities to facilitate operations of the Raptors MOU Coordinating Unit and CMS Office -Abu Dhabi by: a. Supervising an Associate Programme Officer and when needed short-term consultant(s) and intern(s) b. Performing general and routine office management practices including effective budget management and stewardship c. Applying UN rules and regulations, including overseeing the development, implementation and monitoring of and reporting on legal agreements in line with UN rules. 5. The candidate should demonstrate:Proven experience leading advanced manufacturing technology programs. Strong understanding of modern manufacturing processes, automation, and industrial technology. Experience implementing robotics, automated production systems, machine vision, industrial IoT, or intelligent manufacturing solutions. Knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, MES, ERP, industrial networks, sensors, motion control, and manufacturing automation. Experience with digital manufacturing, manufacturing analytics, simulation, digital twins, or virtual commissioning. Understanding of AI and machine-learning applications in manufacturing is highly desirable. Experience evaluating and implementing emerging manufacturing technologies. Strong knowledge of manufacturing process optimization, productivity improvement, and capacity planning. Experience managing technology feasibility studies, pilots, commissioning, qualification, and production deployment. Strong understanding of manufacturing quality, process capability, reliability, and operational performance. Experience developing technology business cases, capital investment proposals, ROI analysis, and payback assessments. Strong project-management and portfolio-management capabilities. Experience managing technology suppliers, system integrators, equipment manufacturers, and technical partners. Strong understanding of industrial safety, operational technology cybersecurity, regulatory requirements, and risk management.
