Who we areAbout Stripe
Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team
This role sits on the global expansion team, bringing Stripe to new markets. We orchestrate market entry end-to-end in new countries across Stripe's entire product suite. We are a small, high-leverage team that turns Stripe's global platform into a locally excellent product, and then works side-by-side with GTM and cross-functional teams to drive it to scale. Success in a region means more than launching. It entails developing a deep understanding of local market needs and finding true product-market fit – building durable, growing businesses in each market we enter.

What you'll do
We're looking for a Product Lead to own Stripe's product strategy and growth across the Middle East and Africa. You'll set the vision for how Stripe wins in the region and then make it real—turning ambiguous, high-stakes questions into a clear, sequenced roadmap that leaders inside and outside Stripe can rally behind.

This role rewards strong leadership instincts and willingness to get your hands dirty. You'll drive complex, cross-functional decisions—how Stripe enters and scales in each market, and where to invest—aligning internal and external leaders around a shared, ambitious vision. You'll be equally focused on building the right product and on driving it to success: establishing product-market fit, and partnering deeply with go-to-market and marketing teams to accelerate adoption and growth. You'll work hand-in-hand with Stripe's Risk, Cards, Terminal, Partnerships, Legal, and Compliance teams, and with external partners across the region.

Responsibilities

Own the long-term product vision and growth strategy for the Middle East and Africa, and build and execute a compelling, sequenced roadmap across the region's priority markets.

Drive markets to success by establishing strong product-market fit, then partnering closely with go-to-market and marketing teams to accelerate adoption, distribution, and growth.

Bring strong leadership instincts to complex, high-stakes decisions—how Stripe enters and scales in each market—aligning internal and external leaders around a shared vision.

Define Stripe's market-entry approach by navigate the region's regulatory and licensing landscape in close partnership with internal teams and external partners.

Deeply understand the needs of businesses and consumers across the region by spending time with users and by observing patterns across their feedback and the market.

Partner with product marketing and go-to-market teams to turn your roadmap into compelling, actionable narratives that drive awareness and adoption.

Become Stripe's internal subject-matter expert on Middle East and Africa payments—the ecosystem, competitive landscape, and local payment behavior—and use that expertise to influence Stripe's global roadmap.

Who you are
We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum requirements

8+ years in a product management or product-adjacent role, with a proven track record building highly impactful products at a technology company

Strong business acumen and commercial instincts, with comfort in complex ecosystem and platform-level problems.

Strong leadership instincts, with a track record of driving complex, high-stakes decisions and aligning senior internal and external stakeholders around a shared vision.

Track record of partnering closely with engineers, designers, and other internal stakeholders partners to build products and complex systems at scale.

Demonstrated experience in navigating complex, multi-layered partnerships with external parties and driving alignment on strategic (product) priorities

Experience turning ambiguous, open-ended problems into clear strategy and a sequenced, executable roadmap—and delivering against it over multiple quarters.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for precise and concise articulation of user problems.

Strong analytical capabilities with experience defining and tracking success metrics, running experiments, and using data to measure product impact on revenue, conversion, and margins.

Preferred qualifications

Experience with online payments

Experience launching or scaling products in the Middle East and/or Africa, or deep familiarity with the region's payments ecosystem.

Experience building platform or marketplace products where success requires balancing multiple stakeholder interests.

Professional proficiency in Arabic
