Job Purpose<p>The <strong>Engineering Projects</strong> section specializes in evaluating, specifying, and negotiating new and used aircraft acquisitions. We oversee the entire process, from initial evaluation and assembly inspection to final delivery and acceptance.</p><br><br><p>We develop detailed specifications for aircraft and new system installations, including Passenger Entertainment and Connectivity Services (IFE) and Cabin Interiors. Maintain specification documentation, cost summaries, aircraft specification matrix up to date and monitor project schedules and new airplane deliveries. <strong>MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE</strong><br>To provide guidance and supervise team members on cargo capacity management activities on a shift basis & on regular morning pattern, ensuring daily capacity utilization and booking is evaluated for flights departing Dubai Airports ensuring maximum revenue optimization. <br><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong><br><ul><li>Assists Line Manager with weekly cargo capacity performance data.</li><li>Follows all relevant policies, processes, and procedures to ensure operations are carried out in a safe and secure manner.</li><li>Leading a team of capacity management staff deployed in shifts to process the cargo capacity requests globally, on the flydubai Cargo network while protecting and enhancing systemwide cargo revenue generation objectives.</li><li>Responsible for managing capacity management efficiencies, optimizing the capacity usage, provide the highest level of service quality standards on a shift basis.</li><li>Plans and schedules Road Feeder Services (RFS) throughout the network by identifying trucking gateways.</li><li>Liaises with Procurement team to identify RFS providers, negotiate terms and conditions and finalize trucking agreements.</li><li>Coordinates adhoc flight capacity and manages bookings as required due to operational changes.</li><li>Monitors effective evaluation of allotments and approvals of capacity requests.</li><li>Ensures delivery of key customer capacity commitments to maintain business relationships with network wide Cargo Distributors.</li><li>Manages capacity forecast on the inbound and outbound flights including overbooking limits.</li><li>Intercepts and takes decisions on queries and clarifications sought by customer service, interline partners, flydubai outstations, or any other stakeholders.</li><li>Liaises with the Cargo Pricing team to optimize revenue/yield managed flights.</li><li>Ensures that Sales Prognosis Report is prepared by capacity management team on a regular basis with available capacity and then conveyed to network.</li><li>Provides capacity management feedback to Line Manager to improve revenue management system and performance.</li><li>Supports the Line Manager on the annual budget planning with capacity management data.</li><li>Analyses situations, identifies causes, and makes critical decisions in the absence of Senior Manager Revenue Optimization.</li><li>Assists Line Manager in the analysis of cost-effective budget achievements as well as the performance of service elements.</li><li>Reviews space allocation requests for oversized packages and supports Supervisors in decision making.</li></ul> <br><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong><br><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)</li><li>Knowledge in Safety Management Systems</li><li>Fluent in English</li><li>Years with qualifications: 5 - 7 years</li></ul> <br><strong>COMPETENCIES</strong><br><ul><li>Customer Focus</li><li>Teamwork</li><li>Effective Communication</li><li>Personal Accountability & Commitment to achieve</li><li>Resilience & Flexibility (Can do attitude)</li></ul> <br><strong>ISR REQUIREMENTS</strong><br>Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team.
