<br><br><p>Senior Project Manager – Mechanical will provide overall leadership, strategic direction, and end-to-end management of major mechanical and piping project scopes within large-scale LNG, Oil & Gas, Gas Processing, Petrochemical, Refinery, and EPC projects.
The position will be responsible for the complete project execution lifecycle, covering engineering coordination, procurement, expediting, inspection, logistics, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning interfaces, system completion, handover, and close-out. The role will ensure delivery in accordance with contractual requirements, approved budget, baseline schedule, quality standards, HSE requirements, and client expectations.
The Senior Project Manager will lead multidisciplinary project teams and maintain strong coordination with the Client, PMC, EPC partners, engineering consultants, vendors, subcontractors, and internal corporate functions, while driving project performance, productivity, cost optimization, schedule recovery, risk mitigation, stakeholder satisfaction, and successful achievement of critical project milestones.</p><br><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li><p>Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for mechanical and piping project execution, ensuring alignment with project objectives, contractual obligations, approved execution strategies, and company business targets.</p></li><li><p>Manage the complete project lifecycle from mobilization, engineering coordination, procurement, material expediting, inspection, logistics, and construction through pre-commissioning, commissioning interfaces, system completion, handover, and final close-out.</p></li><li><p>Develop and implement project execution strategies, construction methodologies, execution plans, resource plans, manpower requirements, project schedules, productivity targets, project KPIs, and performance management systems.</p></li><li><p>Lead multidisciplinary teams covering Mechanical, Piping, Civil, Structural, E&I, Planning, Project Controls, QA/QC, HSE, Commercial, Procurement, Logistics, and Commissioning functions.</p></li><li><p>Oversee construction and installation of major mechanical systems, including static and rotating equipment, pressure vessels, tanks, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, piping systems, utilities, process systems, and associated plant facilities.</p></li><li><p>Ensure all construction activities are executed in accordance with approved IFC drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs, project procedures, applicable international codes and standards, and client requirements.</p></li><li><p>Establish effective systems for monitoring construction productivity, manpower efficiency, equipment utilization, material consumption, work-front availability, and resource performance.</p></li><li><p>Review project progress against approved baseline schedules and contractual milestones, identify critical path constraints and schedule risks, and implement effective recovery, mitigation, acceleration, and catch-up strategies.</p></li><li><p>Work closely with Planning and Project Controls teams to review Primavera P6 schedules, progress measurement, manpower histograms, productivity reports, look-ahead schedules, critical path activities, forecasts, earned progress, and recovery programmes.</p></li><li><p>Ensure adequate manpower, equipment, materials, drawings, permits, access, temporary facilities, work fronts, and other resources are available to maintain continuous construction progress.</p></li><li><p>Maintain close coordination with HSE leadership to ensure full compliance with project HSE plans, permit-to-work systems, risk assessments, method statements, safe systems of work, statutory requirements, and client HSE standards.</p></li><li><p>Promote a strong zero-incident safety culture, ensuring HSE performance remains a key project delivery KPI and that all project personnel and subcontractors maintain safe working practices.</p></li><li><p>Monitor project cost performance in coordination with Commercial and Project Controls teams, covering manpower, subcontractor costs, equipment, materials, productivity, indirect costs, and other project expenditures.</p></li><li><p>Support commercial and contractual management of variations, claims, EOT submissions, change orders, subcontractor claims, back charges, commercial correspondence, and contractual notices.</p></li><li><p>Identify commercial risks and opportunities
