<p>Amazon Web Services is hiring a Product Design Engineer for the Electrical Products and Services engineering team. This electrical product focused team is a part of a global engineering team, responsible for the design and continuous innovation for products used within our rapidly expanding data center foot print.<br>The Electrical Product Engineering team at Amazon works to design and develop resilient, cost-effective electrical distribution products and systems. As an engineer at Amazon, you have the ability to drive change and define/design the systems our customers rely on.<br>We are seeking a Product Design Engineer with an Electrical Engineering background with hands-on experience in new product design and development of electrical power distribution equipment such as Low Voltage Switchgear, Power Distribution Cabinets or LV panel boards. If you can design electrical power distribution product/s and equipment, help to test and successfully test the products per latest codes and standards using third party test laboratories then you will be a good fit. You will directly lead product design and development and be a part of the process from concept to implementation. You must be capable of defining equipment specifications and evaluating the merit of design changes. Deploys Centre Sales team against key accounts including targeted segment sales, local and social catering, business travel sales and extended stay sales to achieve sales goals. <br>Revenue Management<br>: Works with Revenue Management to ensure proper pricing, appropriate transient and group mix and implementation of sales strategy. Addresses market fluctuations and economic conditions by partnering with Revenue Management to change sales strategy as appropriate for each hotel.<br>Guest Satisfaction<br>: Ensures sales process meets or exceeds guest needs. Develops business goals and creates appropriate development plans. Assists associates based on their individual strengths, development needs, career aspirations and abilities.<br>Administers sales bonus and incentive programs.<br>Establishes and maintains open, collaborative relationships with associates and ensures associates do the same within the team.<br>Actively solicits feedback, utilizes an “open door” policy and reviews associate satisfaction results to identify and address associate problems and concerns. Ensures hotel policies are administered fairly and consistently.
