Head of Brand & Marketing Build the World's Leading Brand for AI in Real Estate Location: Dubai Reports to: Founder & CEO
About Smart Bricks Smart Bricks is building the future of AI for real estate. Every year, trillions of dollars are invested across residential, commercial and alternative real estate using fragmented systems, disconnected data and manual workflows. We're building an AI-native platform that helps investors, developers, lenders, governments and Fortune 500 companies source opportunities, underwrite investments, perform due diligence and manage portfolios using AI.
Alongside our software platform, we're building an Applied AI Lab that works directly with some of the world's largest real estate organisations to redesign complex workflows using AI. Every customer engagement generates institutional knowledge. Every deployment strengthens the platform. Every improvement compounds across every future customer.
We've raised over $5 million, led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), and are backed by some of the world's leading technology ecosystems, including Techstars, Google, NVIDIA and Microsoft through their AI and startup programmes.
We're building our founding leadership team across London, Dubai and San Francisco. Our Dubai team is based at DIFC, giving us the opportunity to work alongside some of the GCC's most ambitious founders, investors and technology companies.
This is a chance to join at the earliest stage of building what we believe will be one of the world's leading Applied AI companies for real estate.
Why exceptional people join us???? Raised $5M+, led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z)???? Backed by Google, NVIDIA, Microsoft and Techstars???? Dubai office based at DIFC???? Building across London, Dubai and San Francisco???? Founder recognised as Forbes 30 Under 30???? Building Applied AI with leading institutional real estate organisations
Why this role? This isn't a demand generation role. It's not about buying leads or chasing short-term metrics. Your job is to define how the global real estate industry understands Smart Bricks. You'll shape our positioning, narrative and public identity across customers, investors, developers, governments, researchers and future employees, working directly with the Founder to build a company people don't just buy from, they admire, reference and aspire to join. From product launches and technical research to founder content and industry reports, you'll build a brand recognised for clarity, substance and original thinking. If you want to build a category rather than market one, this is that opportunity.
What you'll own Brand strategy. Own the long-term strategy for the Smart Bricks brand, so that every interaction reinforces what we stand for:Positioning, messaging and narrative Tone of voice and brand architecture Visual identity and employer brand Thought leadership. Build the publishing engine that makes us the global authority on AI in real estate. We want to educate the market, not advertise to it:Original research and industry reports AI Lab publications and technical articles Product deep dives and customer case studies Executive insights and long-form thought leadership Founder brand. Work directly with the Founder to build one of the strongest founder brands in enterprise AI, so they become one of the leading voices shaping the future of AI in real estate:Linked In and long-form writing Podcasts, conferences and keynote speeches Media interviews, video content and executive communications Product marketing. Make every launch feel like an industry event, so people don't just know what we've built, they understand why it matters:Product positioning and messaging Launch strategy, campaigns and creative direction Press, customer communications and internal launches Community. Build relationships and a community around Smart Bricks that extends far beyond our customers, across enterprise customers, investors, AI researchers, universities, governments, developers, founders and industry partners. Build the marketing function. As one of our earliest executives, establish the foundations of Marketing and, over time, recruit and lead talent across brand, communications, content, product marketing, creative, PR, events and design. Growth marketing comes later, today the focus is building an enduring brand.
What Success Looks Like Within your first 12 months you'll have:Established a distinctive global position for Smart Bricks, consistent across every customer touchpoint. Built a world-class content engine publishing original research and thought leadership on a regular cadence. Launched multiple institutional AI products, each landing as an industry moment. Measurably increased inbound interest from enterprise customers, investors and exceptional talent. Elevated the Founder into one of the leading voices in AI for real estate. Success won't be measured by vanity metrics. It'll be measured by whether the best customers, partners and talent seek us out before we reach out to them.
Who we're looking for We're looking for someone who builds categories, not campaigns. You understand that the best brands are built through clarity of thinking, exceptional storytelling and relentless consistency. Specifically, you'll likely have:8 to 15 years across brand, communications, product marketing or corporate storytelling within high-growth technology companies. Built brand and led marketing through a period of rapid growth at a fast-scaling startup or scaleup, ideally taking a company from little-known to widely respected. Launched category-defining products and developed thought leadership programmes from scratch. A track record of translating complex, technical products into clear stories that non-technical audiences act on. Worked directly with founders or CEOs, and managed agencies and creative teams. A degree from a strong institution, or a body of work strong enough that it makes the question irrelevant. You're equally comfortable defining positioning, writing long-form content, editing a keynote, advising the executive team, launching a technical product, managing PR, building communities and reviewing creative work. Demand generation experience is helpful, but brand building, storytelling and positioning matter far more. We're more interested in what you've built than where you've worked, though we'd be especially excited to meet people from AI-native companies such as Open AI, Anthropic, Stripe, Notion, Linear, Vercel, Perplexity, Mistral AI, Eleven Labs or Retool. Experience in real estate isn't required, curiosity about complex industries is.
Compensation & Benefits We believe exceptional people should share in the value they create. You'll receive a highly competitive salary and a meaningful equity package, private healthcare, flexible working, an annual learning and conference budget, access to the latest AI models and developer tooling, and a seat in our Dubai office, alongside one of GCC's leading VC ecosystems.
How We Work We hold ourselves to exceptionally high standards. We think independently, care deeply about craft, write clearly, prefer substance over hype, move quickly without compromising quality, take ownership and stay relentlessly curious. We don't build marketing for algorithms, we build brands that earn trust.
Why Join We move insanely fast, with real rigour and standards, to build one of the defining brands in enterprise AI. You'll define how one of the world's most ambitious AI companies is understood from the very beginning, working directly with the Founder to shape company strategy, influence every major launch, and build a brand that attracts exceptional customers, partners and talent long before they're looking. The work you do won't just shape how people perceive Smart Bricks, it will help define how the real estate industry adopts AI over the next decade. If you're the type to get out of bed to build a category, not just market one, in this generation and the ones after, Smart Bricks is the place for you. We'd love to talk.
