Job Purpose<br><br>The Draftsman is responsible for preparing, updating, and maintaining technical drawings, plans, diagrams, and engineering documentation to support municipal infrastructure, transportation, road, and public works projects. The role assists engineers and technical teams by producing accurate drawings and layouts in accordance with approved specifications, drafting standards, municipal regulations, and project requirements. Develop digital drawing files in accordance with organizational drafting standards. Organize electronic drawing libraries and project documentation. Ensure compliance with CAD standards, layering conventions, and drawing templates.<br><br>Project Support<br><br>Support engineers and technical staff in preparing project documentation and design deliverables. Assist in gathering technical information necessary for drawing preparation. Coordinate with project teams to obtain updates and clarifications on drawing requirements. Participate in design review meetings and incorporate approved modifications into drawings.<br><br>Site Verification Support<br><br>Conduct site visits when required to collect measurements and verify existing site conditions. Participate in training and professional development initiatives.<br><br>Qualifications & Experience<br><br>Educational Qualifications<br><br>Diploma in Drafting, Civil Engineering Technology, Architectural Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field. Technical certifications in Auto CAD or drafting software are preferred.<br><br>Experience<br><br>2-5 years of experience in drafting and technical drawing preparation. Meet with enrolled parents, explain registration procedures, curriculum, fee structure, e SIS regulations and ensure all documentation is completed effectively. Oversee the assessments process with the academic team as required, to ensure the enrolment process is efficient. Oversee the waiting list (if applicable), maintain standard communication with the waitlisted parents in a timely manners and update on the application status accordingly. Manage the registration files for all new and existing students.<br><br><br>Specific Duties<br><br>Keep up to date with the rules and regulations of ADEK and ensure compliance during the enrolment and completing the registration process. Managing e SIS (student information system) including student registration, withdrawals, transfers, and pre-transition. Develop and maintain strong relationship with ADEK’s student affairs department. Ensure that all parents facing areas are clean, uncluttered and convey a welcoming environment to students and parents. Manage leads and qualify enquiries and be the first point of contact for prospective parents. As part of the Front of House team, ensure high quality delivery of school tours to parents and visitors as required. Attend SLT meetings when required to update on enrolments at the school. Work with the PRE to identify strategies for attracting new enrolments and student retention. Manage the reenrollment process for existing parents in conjunction with the PRE, providing regular analysis of the updates to the Head of Enrolments and Principal. Provide the Head of Enrolments with weekly and monthly reports and projections on enrolments Attend networking events to promote the school. Organise and attend enrolment events for the school. JOB PURPOSE: The HSE Officer supports the implementation and day-to-day monitoring of health, safety, and environmental requirements across waste management operations. The role helps ensure that waste collection, transportation, transfer, storage, workshop, and site activities are performed safely and in compliance with legal, client, contractual, and company requirements.<br>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:<br>HSE Management System & Compliance Support implementation and maintenance of the HSE Management System in line with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 requirements. Monitor compliance with applicable legal, client, contractual, and company HSE requirements across waste management operations. Maintain HSE procedures, risk registers, permits, inspection records, and other documents in an accurate and audit-ready condition.<br>Operational Inspections & Waste Management Safety Conduct routine HSE inspections of operation activities, vehicles, depots, workshops, transfer stations, and waste handling areas, camps . Verify safe waste segregation, handling, containment, storage, transportation, and disposal practices, including controls for hazardous waste where applicable. Monitor critical risks including vehicle movement, reversing, lifting, compaction equipment, traffic exposure, heat stress, confined spaces, and work at height.<br>Risk Assessment & Incident Management Prepare and review risk assessments, job safety analyses, method statements, and permit-to-work controls for operational activities. Report and investigate incidents, near misses, unsafe acts, environmental spills, and property damage, and support root cause analysis. Track corrective and preventive actions to closure and maintain accurate incident statistics, investigation files, and evidence.<br>Training & Workforce Engagement Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and task-specific training for drivers, waste collectors, helpers, supervisors, and equipment operators. Verify that employees and subcontractors hold the required training, licences, permits, and competencies before starting work. Promote safety awareness through campaigns, observations, coaching, and regular engagement with field teams.<br>Environmental Protection & Emergency Preparedness Monitor environmental controls related to spills, leaks, dust, noise, odour, wastewater, fuel, chemicals, and waste storage. Support emergency response planning and conduct drills for fires, vehicle incidents, spills, medical emergencies, and other credible scenarios. Inspect emergency equipment, first-aid provisions, spill kits, fire protection systems, and welfare facilities, and report deficiencies promptly.<br>Reporting & Operational Coordination Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports, inspection findings, performance statistics, and client submissions within required timelines. Coordinate with Operations, Fleet, Workshop, HR, subcontractors, and client representatives to resolve HSE concerns and close actions. Immediately escalate serious risks, repeated non-compliance, regulatory issues, and overdue corrective actions to management.<br>EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:<br>Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent is required. ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Internal Auditor certification is preferred. First Aid, Fire Warden, and incident investigation training are advantages. A valid UAE driving licence is preferred. Minimum Experience: 3 to 5 years of HSE experience, including at least 2 years in waste management, environmental services, municipal services, facilities management, logistics, or a similar high-risk operational environment.<br>SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:<br>Job Specific: Good command of English is required, and Arabic is an advantage. Strong knowledge of HSE inspections, risk assessment, incident investigation, waste management hazards, environmental controls, emergency response, and HSE reporting. Generic Skills: Strong observation, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills. Good report-writing and record-keeping abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to work effectively with multicultural field teams. Ability to work independently, maintain professional judgement under pressure, and travel regularly between operational sites.
