<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles &amp; Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><ul><li><p>Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of carpenters and assigned personnel.</p></li><li><p>Plan, assign, and monitor carpentry work to ensure timely completion of maintenance requests and projects.</p></li><li><p>Inspect, repair, install, and maintain wooden furniture, cabinets, doors, partitions, shelves, pallets, and other wooden structures.</p></li><li><p>Read and interpret drawings, sketches, and technical specifications for carpentry work.</p></li><li><p>Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install wood and other materials accurately.</p></li><li><p>Ensure the proper use, maintenance, and storage of carpentry tools, machinery, and equipment.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with Maintenance, Administration, Production, and other departments to prioritize work requirements.</p></li><li><p>Estimate material requirements and submit requests for wood, hardware, fittings, and consumables.</p></li><li><p>Monitor inventory of carpentry materials and recommend replenishment when required.</p></li><li><p>Conduct regular inspections to identify repair and maintenance requirements throughout company facilities.</p></li><li><p>Ensure all carpentry work complies with company quality standards and safety regulations.</p></li><li><p>Train, guide, and evaluate carpentry staff to improve productivity and workmanship.</p></li><li><p>Maintain records of completed work, material consumption, and maintenance activities.</p></li><li><p>Support office renovations, factory modifications, and special projects as assigned.</p></li></ul></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><ul><li><p>Diploma or Technical Certificate in Carpentry, Wood Technology, Construction, or a related field.</p></li><li><p>Additional vocational or trade certifications are an advantage.</p></li><li><p>Minimum <strong>5–8 years</strong> of carpentry experience.</p></li><li><p>At least <strong>2 years</strong> in a supervisory or team leader role.</p></li><li><p>Experience in industrial, manufacturing, commercial, or large facility maintenance is preferred.</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, woodworking machinery, and hand tools.</p></li><li><p>Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of furniture fabrication, repairs, and interior fit-out works.</p></li><li><p>Good planning and team supervision skills.</p></li></ul><p></p></section>
