<p>We are seeking an experienced Estimator – Bridges to join our Tendering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for bridge construction and infrastructure projects across the UAE. The role requires extensive knowledge of bridge construction methodologies, quantity take-offs, pricing, subcontractor management, and tender preparation. The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of 5 years of UAE experience in bridge estimation and be highly proficient in Candy Estimation Software.
Key Responsibilities
1) Prepare detailed cost estimates for bridge and related infrastructure projects.
2) Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract requirements.
3) Perform detailed quantity take-offs from engineering drawings.
4) Develop accurate project cost estimates covering materials, labour, equipment, subcontractors, and indirect costs.
5) Prepare and maintain cost databases and unit rate build-ups.
6) Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
7) Conduct site visits when required to assess project conditions and associated risks.
8) Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Planning, and Operations teams during tender preparation.
9) Identify value engineering opportunities to enhance project competitiveness.
10) Prepare tender submissions within specified deadlines.
11) Participate in post-tender clarifications and negotiations with clients.

2) Minimum 5 years of UAE experience as an Estimator specifically for bridge construction projects.
3) Strong knowledge of bridge construction methods, temporary works, foundations, structural concrete, steel structures, post-tensioning, and associated infrastructure works.
4) Expert-level proficiency in Candy Estimation Software is mandatory.
5) Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and MS Office.
6) Experience in preparing cost estimates for government and private sector bridge projects.
7) Strong understanding of FIDIC contracts, UAE construction standards, and tendering procedures.
8) Excellent analytical, commercial, and negotiation skills.
9) Ability to work under pressure and meet strict tender deadlines.
