The function plays a critical role in enabling dnata's environmental strategy through fleet transformation and alternative fuel initiatives, while also driving the innovation agenda through the testing and deployment of autonomous ground handling technologies and future-focused operational solutions. Contact Weatherford representative in the operations and optimize the Well Services process if required by making calculations and recommendations based on well monitoring</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Keep in constant communications with customers, during and after jobs, updating them with results</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Manage single phase and multiphase, steady state and transient, hydraulic simulators </span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Support operators with well balancing, surge/swab, torque and drag, directional drilling and casing running calculations</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Support Well Services Application and Project Engineers of higher level on coordinating projects</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Perform Well Services jobs audit</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Review and approve rig visit (onshore/offshore) </span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Field Engineer and/or other field related role when requested by management including but not limited to operating the system.</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Have an active role with the Sales/Business development group with client meetings and presentations</span></p><br></li><li><p><span>Preparation and delivery of technical presentation, engineering studies, end of well reports, etc.</span></p><br></li><li><span>Keep updated on other Weatherford products and services that could help the operator to optimize their drilling/completion process</span></li></ul><p><span>Required:</span></p><br><ul><li><span>Minimum 4+ years of experience in rig-less operations and thru-tubing operations</span></li><li><span>Excellent knowledge and experience in Production Solutions and/or Artificial Lifting Systems</span><span> / Slick Line</span></li><li><span>Experience of working in an office environment</span></li><li><span>Experience of working on commercial proposals</span></li><li><span>Ability to manage multiple projects</span></li><li><span>Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft suite. </span></li><li><span>Must be willing to travel to remote land and offshore work locations and possibly to other countries. <br> JOB PURPOSE:<p>The Wireline Field Engineer at ADNOC Drilling is responsible for executing wireline services across various onshore and offshore locations in the UAE. This role ensures the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of open hole and cased hole wireline operations, while mentoring junior staff and maintaining operational excellence in accordance with ADNOC Drilling standards.</p><br>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:<p><strong><em><u>Job Specific:</u></em></strong></p><br><ul><li>Execute wireline services for ADNOC Drilling clients across assigned rigs and fields.</li><li>Lead wellsite operations as the crew lead engineer, ensuring compliance with ADNOC Drilling procedures.</li><li>Supervise and mentor junior engineers and operators in wireline service delivery and tool operations.</li><li>Prepare, plan, and troubleshoot wireline jobs at the base, including pre-job and post-job reporting.</li><li>Coordinate with customer representatives and rig crews to align wireline operations with drilling schedules.</li><li>Advise clients on wireline operations, perform quality control of logs, and support wellsite decision-making.</li><li>Manage radioactive sources and explosives handling in accordance with ADNOC Drilling HSE and regulatory protocols.</li><li>Maintain accurate job records and communicate operational updates to the service delivery coordinator.</li><li>Resolve simple wellsite issues using engineering skills</li><li>Utilize software tools such as ECLIPS, Warrior, and Cerberus Tension Modelling for job planning and execution.</li><li><strong>Demonstrate hands-on experience with Baker Hughes wireline equipment and tools, including deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting.</strong></li><li><strong>Demonstrate proven experience in commonly performed wireline operations in Abu Dhabi, including open hole logging, cased hole services, perforation and/or production logging.</strong></li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:<p><strong>Minimum Qualification</strong></p><br><ul><li>Bachelor Degree in Engineering.</li></ul><p><strong>Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills</strong></p><br><p>Minimum 3 years’ experience in oilfield wireline operations and services (open-hole and cased-hole), with strong exposure to Baker Hughes wireline technologies.</p><br><ul><li>Thorough understanding and competency in wireline operations and services (basic open/cased-hole services) including planning, execution and troubleshooting at wellsite.</li><li>Ability to interpret and quality-control wireline data/logs at the wellsite and communicate recommendations to customers.</li><li>Strong understanding of HS&E requirements including risk assessment, PTW, SIMOPS, pressure control, lifting operations and (where applicable) radioactive sources and explosives.</li><li>Good knowledge of spoken and written English.</li><li>Computer literate and capable of producing accurate operational documentation and reports.</li></ul><p><strong>Professional Certifications </strong></p><br><ul><li>Basic Logging Academy / equivalent (ELS-1 & ELS-2).</li><li>Deployment Risk Management (DRM) School / Wireline Deployment & Risk Management.</li><li>IWCF Well Control (as per company requirement).</li><li>PCE 10k (and higher rating as applicable) / Pressure Control certification.</li><li>Radiation Safety & Source Handling certification (as applicable).</li><li>Explosives/Perforating competency certification (as applicable).</li><li>ADNOC Drilling mandatory HSE trainings (PTW, WMS/JSA, First Aid/CPR, H2S, Defensive Driving; Offshore: BOSIET/FOET where required).</li></ul><br> </div>
