About the job LEAD DISCIPLINE ENGINEER (FIELD) - PROCESS
<p>We are seeking an experienced Lead Process Field Engineer to support construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and field engineering activities for a major ADNOC Onshore project. The ideal candidate will provide on-site process engineering support, resolve technical issues during construction, ensure compliance with project specifications, and coordinate with engineering, construction, commissioning, and client teams to ensure safe and efficient project execution.</p><br>
<p><strong>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><br>
<ul><li>Provide field engineering support for process-related activities during construction and commissioning.</li><li>Review and resolve site technical queries (TQs), field change requests (FCRs), and non-conformance reports (NCRs).</li><li>Ensure construction activities comply with approved engineering drawings, specifications, and ADNOC standards.</li><li>Coordinate with engineering, construction, QA/QC, commissioning, and client teams to resolve site issues.</li><li>Review P&IDs, PFDs, isometrics, line lists, and process documentation for site implementation.</li><li>Support equipment installation, piping works, hydrotesting, flushing, leak testing, and mechanical completion activities.</li><li>Participate in system walkdowns, punch listing, mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.</li><li>Verify field modifications and ensure as-built documentation is updated accurately.</li><li>Provide technical guidance to site engineers and subcontractors.</li><li>Attend client meetings and provide technical clarification on process-related issues.</li><li>Ensure compliance with ADNOC HSE requirements and project quality standards.</li><li>Support start-up activities and assist in troubleshooting process systems during commissioning.</li></ul>
<p><strong>KEY QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p><br>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or Process Engineering.</li>
<li>Minimum 12–15 years of Oil & Gas experience.</li>
<li>Minimum 5 years of experience as a Lead Process Field Engineer or Senior Process Field Engineer.</li>
<li>Mandatory experience on ADNOC Onshore EPC projects.</li>
<li>Strong experience in construction support, field engineering, pre-commissioning, and commissioning.</li>
<li>Good understanding of process systems including Separation Systems, Gas Processing, Oil Treatment Facilities, Produced Water Systems, Utility Systems, Flare & Relief Systems</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of P&IDs, PFDs, process calculations, line sizing, and operating philosophies.</li>
<li>Familiarity with international codes and standards such as API, ASME, ANSI, ISA, and ADNOC Engineering Standards.</li>
<li>Excellent problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.</li>
<li>Experience working in multidisciplinary EPC project teams.</li>
<li>Previous experience on ADNOC Brownfield or Greenfield Onshore projects.</li>
<li>Experience supporting commissioning and plant start-up activities.</li>
<li>Familiarity with electronic document management systems and engineering change management processes.</li>

<p>We are looking for a highly experienced Lead Discipline Engineer (Field) – Instrumentation to oversee and support all field instrumentation engineering activities on a major onshore oil and gas project. The successful candidate will ensure that instrumentation installation, testing, calibration, loop checking, and commissioning activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, and client requirements.</p><br><p><strong>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><br>
<ul><li>Lead and supervise all onshore instrumentation field engineering activities during construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases</li><li>Ensure instrumentation installation works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, applicable codes, and client requirements</li><li>Coordinate with construction, engineering, QA/QC, commissioning, and operations teams to resolve field instrumentation engineering issues</li><li>Review and provide technical support for instrumentation installation, calibration, loop checking, control system interfaces, and field design changes</li><li>Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with project schedules, safety requirements, and quality standards</li><li>Review and approve field technical queries (TQs), site instructions, method statements, and engineering change requests</li><li>Provide technical guidance on field instruments, control valves, analyzers, junction boxes, cable terminations, DCS, ESD, and instrument commissioning activities</li><li>Participate in site inspections, walkdowns, punch list clearance, and final acceptance activities</li><li>Liaise with the client, EPC teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders on all instrumentation field engineering matters</li></ul><p><strong>KEY QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><br>
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent Engineering discipline</li><li>Minimum 15–20 years of experience in instrumentation engineering, with significant experience in onshore field engineering for oil and gas projects</li><li>Proven track record on large-scale onshore oil and gas, gas processing, or petrochemical projects</li><li>Strong expertise in instrumentation installation, calibration, loop checking, construction support, testing, and commissioning activities</li><li>Thorough knowledge of international instrumentation codes and standards including IEC, ISA, API, and relevant client specifications</li><li>Experience with ADNOC onshore projects is strongly preferred</li><li>Strong leadership, coordination, and multidisciplinary communication skills</li><li>Familiarity with engineering documentation, field engineering procedures, and construction management practices</li></ul><p>VERTICAL</p><br>
