<strong>MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE</strong><br>To carry out and support a wide range of aircraft base maintenance activities such as, inspections, troubleshooting, and defect rectification in accordance with approved maintenance data, ensuring that aircraft are maintained to the highest standards of safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance. <br><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong><br><ul><li>Performs scheduled base maintenance (C-checks, modifications, repairs) on aircraft in accordance with approved documentation and procedures.</li><li>Performs unscheduled base maintenance including troubleshooting and defect rectification on aircraft in accordance with approved documentation and procedures.</li><li>Ensures that all documentation including work cards, technical logs books, defect rectification and modifications are correctly completed in accordance with company policy, process and procedure</li><li>Ensures all maintenance is carried out using the correct tools, equipment, and procedures as per the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) and other approved documentation.</li><li>Raises Parts Requests for defects as required, ensuring that all associated spares are ordered, and that AMOS is accurate and correct.</li><li>Supports other flydubai maintenance events including line maintenance, minor maintenance and Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery ensuring all maintenance is carried out in accordance with approved documentation and procedures.</li><li>Supports aircraft movements, including towing, marshalling, docking, refueling and engine ground runs.</li><li>Reports any issues affecting safety, quality, or performance to appropriate departments.</li><li>Promotes the Safety Management System (SMS) and ensures a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement within the maintenance team.</li><li>Promotes teamwork and clear communication between shifts, departments, and supports functions to ensure efficient workflow and minimal disruptions.</li></ul> <br><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong><br><ul><li>Associate Degree (2 years)</li><li>Basic Aircraft Maintenance Training and a recognised Aircraft Maintenance Qualification are required</li><li>Fluent in English</li><li>Demonstrated experience in the maintenance of commercial aircraft in a Line or Base Maintenance environment</li><li>Years with qualifications: 3 - 5 years</li></ul> <br><strong>COMPETENCIES</strong><br><ul><li>Customer Focus</li><li>Teamwork</li><li>Effective Communication</li><li>Personal Accountability & Commitment to achieve</li><li>Resilience & Flexibility (Can do attitude)</li></ul> <br><strong>ISR REQUIREMENTS</strong><br>Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. <br> Job Purpose <br><p>Provide technical expertise with experience based knowledge and assistance to technical and operational divisions / departments on all related matters to reliability engineering, assessment and monitoring </p><br><br><br>Job Specific Accountabilities <br><p>• Conducts Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), Asset Performance Management (APM) and Reliability Center Maintenance (RCM) studies in an effort to convert the nature of maintenance from reactive repairs to proactive preventive maintenance and condition monitoring.<br>• Identifies and applies appropriate maintenance strategies to minimize the impact of failures on business performance. <br>• Leads and participates in BF/GF (Brown Field/Green Field) Engineering activities to improve Reliability of and optimize maintenance costs. <br>• Focuses on identification of equipment issues before they result in failures via use of predictive tools and Reliability methods. <br>• Maintains bad factor listing and reporting. Researches and provides technical advice for upgrading and refurbishment of mechanical equipment during major overhauls or new installations. <br>• Reviews packages for new projects and recommends on equipment selection and redundancy and participates in equipment review and proposed new solutions alerts on obsolescence of equipment.<br>• Recommends necessary modification/replacement of equipment to overcome technical problems. <br>• Assists operational sites to develop appropriate monitoring techniques to help reflecting the equipment’s real conditions.<br>• Leads specific scheme/works allocated to Reliability Engineering in different disciplines including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation. <br> </p><br><br><br>Internal Communications & Working Relationships <br><p>Contact with line Manager/ peers and other employees within the company/Group as required<br> </p><br><br><br>External Communications & Working Relationships <br><p>Contact with external parties including consultants, third party service providers, and government agencies as required <br> </p><br><br><br>Minimum Qualification <br><p>Bachelor Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.</p><br><br><br>Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills <br><p>6 years of experience,preferably in the oil & gas industry<br> </p><br><br><br>Professional Certifications <br><p>As applicable</p><br><br><br><br><br> </div>
