Evaluate technology and vendor solutions to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, scalability, interoperability, and cost objectives. Provide architectural leadership and technical assurance to product, delivery, engineering, and vendor teams. Ensure solutions meet requirements for security, resilience, performance, availability, compliance, and business continuity. Maintain architecture artefacts, including solution designs, capability maps, data flows, integration models, and roadmaps. Manage architecture risks, technical debt, dependencies, and opportunities for standardisation and reuse. Assess and promote the adoption of emerging technologies, including AI, machine learning, and intelligent automation, where they deliver measurable business value. Support agile delivery by establishing architecture guardrails that enable rapid and effective solution delivery. Collaborate across Digital, Data, Technology, Finance, Procurement, Customer, and Operations functions to deliver business outcomes.<br><br>Qualifications<br><br>Education & Experience<br><br>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.7+ years of experience in Solution, Application, or Enterprise Architecture, ideally within large-scale digital transformation environments. Proven experience designing technology solutions for airline operations, with a strong understanding of operational processes and supporting systems. Strong knowledge of APIs, microservices, application integration, and modern integration architectures. Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure, including cloud-native services, data platforms, streaming technologies, and AI capabilities. Hands-on experience using AI, automation, APIs, low-code platforms, and cloud technologies to develop prototypes and proof of concepts. Experience applying enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF to define architectures, roadmaps, governance, and technology standards. Experience working within Agile and/or SAFe delivery environments. <b>Job Purpose</b> <br><p><span><span><span>Provide technical expertise on all relevant Flight Ops Performance Engineering aspects, including but not limited to aircraft performance, weight and balance, engine out procedures, aircraft documentation, aircraft modifications, operations planning and optimization, fuel conservation, operating cost optimization and aircraft evaluation and testing. This role is also the focal for Airbus performance tools, to strive to improve the performance & efficiency of our operation.</span></span></span></p><br><br><b>Key Result Responsibilities</b> <br><p><b>Key activities:</b><br>1. Provide technical advice and assistance on all aspects of Aircraft Performance Engineering<br>2. Contribute to performance documentation technical content, customization, revision and production in relevant published manuals and support material<br>3. Ensure that regulated performance for Take-off, En-route and Landing are monitored and revised on a regular basis:<br>a) Takeoff<br>- Constant monitoring and updating of airport database<br>- Design, validation and implementation of Engine Out procedures<br>- NOTAM assessment and implementation configuration and maintenance of the electronic performance tool<br>b) En-route<br>- Validation as appropriate of escape procedures for Drift down and Depressurization<br>c) Landing<br>- Constant monitoring and updating of airport database<br>- Configuration and maintenance of the electronic performance tool<br>- Research and apply methods to increase weights from landing performance penalties<br>4. Monitors the NOTAMs performance & implementation constantly; complies with all necessary regulatory publications such as AIP and Notams that may arise and affect the area of operation whilst ensuring the LIDO Flight Planning system is operating in accordance with regulatory and AIP requirements.<br>6. Identifies limitations on operational capabilities such as Notams, Navigation facilities, Air Traffic flow, aircraft performance and Mel requirements, in line with business requirements and in accordance with Company’s and civil aviation international regulatory guidelines and standards; suggests remedial solutions where applicable.<br>7. Ensures that non normal procedures, or dispatch under MEL items that affect aircraft performance are analyzed and proper guidance produced for crew and Dispatch.<br>8. Contribute to Weight and Balance aspects for our client, including but not limited to:<br>a) AHM560/565 data construction and validation<br>b) Load and Trim sheet production and validation<br>c) In Service modification and reweigh calculation and validation<br>9. Supports in Electronic Flight Bag System and troubleshooting issues and updates database as and when required. <br>10. Reviews Airfield Type A and B Obstacle Charts for analysis and conducts airport feasibility study.<br>11. Acts as Aircraft Performance Monitoring focal, to ensure that back office and aircraft systems accurately reflect aircraft performance degradation; calculates the performance data for all aircrafts and generates aircraft performance degradation. <br>12. Monitors the ETOPS constantly and generates reports as required.<br>13.
