Job Purpose<br><br>At Emirates, Strategic Planning is an essential part of our business and its success. We are a customer-focused organisation who is committed to developing comprehensive insights and recommendations to enhance our strategic operations. Our data-driven approach and dedication to quality drives our accomplishments and is demonstrated across our planning groups.<br><br>The Network Optimisation and Schedules Integration Manager will manage and represent Commercial Planning as the stake holder unit at the Network Control Centre (NCC), providing direction and support to ensure Commercial issues are appropriately addressed and resolved. Be jointly responsible for planning and decision making process at the NCC to ensure that the commercial objectives and overall corporate objectives are achieved with a focus on quick schedule recovery.<br><br>Design and develop operating procedures, process manuals and initiate new processes to carry out schedule adjustments to effectively match supply and demand across the Emirates route network to achieve higher revenue potential and cost savings. Lead, plan and organise to integrate long-term and short-term schedules in Central Schedule Repository (CSR) as this forms the fundamental source for updating Emirates flight schedules in all relevant systems.<br><br>In This Role, You Will<br><br>Generic: Audit the performance of the Network Optimisation & Charters Controllers (NO&CC) and provide instant decisions to all operational issues which need commercial input. Devise procedures, checklists, write and update business process manuals as well as provide professional expertise to NO&CCs to make time-bound critical decisions in order to capitalise revenue making opportunities and achieve significant cost savings through timely implementation of aircraft swaps and extra flights. Independently identify flights with high and low demand, review aircraft re-assignment options and recommend solutions to adjust capacity on a per flight basis, per route basis where seat supply is constrained in order to achieve unbudgeted incremental revenue and enhanced profits. Influence relevant stakeholders and take their input to develop alternatives in order to gain buy-in for changes. Establish the pattern of aircraft swaps and formulate trends to provide strategic decision making processes to senior management on the changing market dynamics so that future Operating Plans can be fine-tuned to take cognizance of such demand. Independently monitor weak performing/loss making flights and lead tactical price changes with commercial operations, where appropriate. Influence and negotiate with Area Managers/Sale Managers, SVP-COs and MCBDs to improve loads, failing which, recommend flight cancellation or downsizing of aircraft thereby mitigating the losses. Effectively seek and negotiate, on behalf of Manager Network Optimisation & Charters, with various aeronautical authorities/airport slot coordinators and ground service providers to obtain landing/handling permissions for operation of extra flights, charter flights and aircraft gauge changes. These ad-hoc operations are vital contributors for incremental revenues/profits. Manage tactically and create spare aircraft time to launch extra-sections during periods of high season and major world events like Haj, Umrah, Nowroz, Dubai Shopping Festival, Dubai Summer Surprise, Chinese New Year, etc., whilst simultaneously ensuring that schedule integrity is maintained. Manage the production of Emirates public timetables on a seasonal basis. Direct OAG timetable production house in the UK to ensure Emirates schedules are captured correctly and Emirates online and interline connectivity is built to provide maximum product exposure to the travelling public. Coordinate with the printers on design and layout of the timetables to enhance the visibility of Emirates? network and new city-pairs resulting in higher revenue potential. Specialized: (NCC/Network Optimisation) Steer the activities of all operational stakeholders, viz. Engineering Planning, Operations/Hub Control, Flight Dispatch, Crew Scheduling, Airport Services, Sky Cargo and DNATA, towards realization of incremental revenue/cost saving opportunities arising from aircraft reassignment/extra flights. Effective and timely coordination with these stakeholders will result in capitalisation of market demand and maximum utilisation of spare aircraft time leading to higher profits. Manage, evaluate and address all operational constraints and issues which could impact the commercial objectives of the company and co-ordinate to implement recovery plans assessing the revenue and cost benefits of such decisions. Identify threats and opportunities that may arise during any disruptions or deviations and be able to lead and provide direction to the Area/Airport Managers at the outstations to minimise service failures and customer inconvenience. Represent Commercial Planning at the FDU (Flight Disruption Unit) as and when it is activated for major schedule disruption, diversions etc. and also represent on all contingency response plans in the event of a serious aircraft incident or accident, heading up the Incident Support Units where applicable. Project manage charter flights throughout its life cycle, extend support to Manager Network Optimisation and Charters with the price quote and provide valuable inputs for an efficient charter operation, covering all commercial and operational aspects. These flights are of high business value and hence need skilful negotiations with internal and external stake holder to ensure efficient and smooth operations. Evaluate and manage the night curfew and slot constrains at various airports and co-ordinate with airport and regulatory authorities to obtain slot confirmation, landing/take-off permission of all aircraft which are off-schedule and re-plan the flights in order to comply, in case of deviations, with the local requirements and effectively manage the continued increase in slot constrained airports. Failure in complying with the regulatory requirements invites fines to the airline and possible loss of historic slot. Specialized: (Business Systems) Plan, develop and coordinate with EGIT to ensure ENCOM (Emirates Network & Capacity Optimisation Module), CSR (Central Schedule Repository) and other Network Optimisation systems are fully functional, are in line with the latest technological advancements and are capable of meeting Emirates' future business requirements. ENCOM and CSR are critical Tier-2 applications supporting many other departments in efficient management of Emirates' schedules and smooth functioning of the entire Airline. Conduct internal surveys of various other systems in the company that completely rely on schedule information sourced from Planning and direct EGIT to develop electronic links between these systems so that Emirates flight schedules are synchronised continuously to eliminate errors. This is of paramount importance given the criticality of the systems and their impact on revenue generation. Design and develop procedures to establish fool proof data filtration process in CSR and prevent leakage of confidential information and avoid exposure of company plans prematurely to the competition. Control the display of new destinations and new aircraft types in all internal and external systems in line with company confidentiality policies and at the same time configure systems to dynamically announce new destinations, schedule/aircraft changes at short notice to make the most commercial impact. Job Description – Senior Facility Manager Location: Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo (Site-Based) Reporting To: Chief Operating Officer (COO)<br>Position Overview<br>INFRAROSE is seeking an experienced Senior Facility Manager to oversee the efficient management, operation, and maintenance of all site facilities, ensuring a safe, functional, and productive working environment for project teams, employees, and visitors.<br>The Senior Facility Manager will be responsible for the overall coordination of facilities management activities, including accommodation, catering coordination, utilities, maintenance services, administration support, security coordination, and workplace services. The role will also provide oversight of the site IT function, ensuring reliable IT infrastructure, systems availability, and effective management of IT professionals supporting site operations.<br>The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring operational continuity and service excellence across the project site while maintaining compliance with company standards, health and safety requirements, and contractual obligations.<br>Key Responsibilities<br>1. Facilities Management & Site Operations<br>Lead the overall facilities management function for the INFRAROSE project site in Kinshasa. Ensure efficient operation and maintenance of all site facilities, including offices, accommodation facilities, common areas, welfare facilities, and support infrastructure. Develop and implement facility management procedures, standards, and service delivery processes. Coordinate with internal departments and external service providers to ensure smooth daily operations. Monitor facility-related contracts, service agreements, and supplier performance. Ensure facilities are maintained in line with company standards, health, safety, quality, and environmental requirements.<br>2. Accommodation & Camp Management<br>Oversee employee accommodation services, ensuring adequate living conditions for site personnel and expatriate staff. Coordinate room allocations, occupancy management, maintenance requests, and accommodation improvements. Ensure effective management of housekeeping, laundry, cleaning, and related services. Monitor accommodation standards and continuously identify opportunities for improvement.<br>3. Utilities, Maintenance & Infrastructure Coordination<br>Oversee site utilities management, including electricity, water supply, generators, HVAC systems, and other essential services. Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities with engineering and maintenance teams. Ensure timely resolution of facility-related issues affecting business continuity. Support planning and implementation of facility upgrades and improvement projects.<br>4. IT Operations Oversight<br>Provide leadership and operational oversight to the site IT function. Manage and coordinate IT professionals supporting site operations. Ensure reliable availability of IT infrastructure, including networks, hardware, software, communication systems, and user support services. Coordinate with corporate IT teams to ensure alignment with company standards, cybersecurity requirements, and technology policies. Oversee IT service requests, incident management, system upgrades, and technology deployment at site level. Ensure proper onboarding and offboarding processes related to IT access, equipment allocation, and user accounts. Monitor IT performance indicators and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.<br>5. Vendor & Contractor Management<br>Manage relationships with facility management contractors, suppliers, and service providers. Review service quality, performance indicators, and compliance with contractual requirements. Support procurement activities related to facilities, IT services, and operational requirements. Ensure effective cost management and optimization of facility-related expenses.<br>6. Administration & Employee Services<br>Support site administration activities to ensure smooth employee experience. Coordinate with HR, Logistics, Fleet, Travel, and Security teams on operational requirements. Support onboarding and mobilization of new employees by ensuring facilities, accommodation, and IT requirements are ready prior to arrival. Contribute to improving employee welfare and overall site experience.<br>7. Health, Safety & Compliance<br>Ensure facilities comply with applicable health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Promote a safe and healthy workplace environment. Participate in audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure emergency preparedness plans are maintained and tested.<br>Qualifications & Experience<br>Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Minimum 10 years of experience in facilities management, site operations, workplace management, or related roles. Proven experience managing facilities in large-scale construction, EPC/EPCM, mining, infrastructure, aviation, or industrial projects. Experience managing remote or site-based operations with multicultural teams. Previous experience overseeing IT operations or coordinating IT teams is highly desirable. Strong experience managing contractors, vendors, and service providers. Experience working in Africa or challenging operational environments is an advantage.<br>Technical & Professional Skills<br>Strong knowledge of facility management principles and best practices. Understanding of building services, utilities, maintenance, and workplace operations. Good knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, systems support, and IT service management. Strong contract and vendor management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment. Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
