JOB PURPOSEThe Bakery Manager – Catering is responsible for leading all bakery and pastry production within a high-volume catering operation, ensuring consistent product quality, food safety compliance, cost control, and timely delivery across client sites and events. The role combines hands-on culinary leadership with production planning, team management, and vendor coordination to support the wider catering business in the UAE.<br>KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPlan, schedule, and oversee daily bakery and pastry production to meet catering menus, banquet orders, and event volumes across multiple sites. Required Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent industry experience). Minimum 10–15 years of construction management experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial EPC projects. Proven track record of managing mechanical & piping construction on live/operational plants and brownfield sites. Direct hands-on experience with high-alloy piping systems — fabrication, welding coordination, installation, and testing. Demonstrated experience executing works under SIMOPS and individual train / total plant shutdowns. Experience with corrosion mitigation and pipe integrity restoration methods, including patch plate repairs and pipe spool replacement. Strong working knowledge of relevant international codes and standards (ASME B31.3, API, ASTM, etc.). Solid understanding of permit-to-work systems, isolation procedures, and HSE management in high-hazard industrial environments. Experience working on major offshore/onshore oil & gas assets (e.g., island plants, offshore production facilities) is highly desirable. Strong leadership, planning, and stakeholder coordination skills, with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams under pressure. Proficiency with project scheduling tools (Primavera P6/MS Project) and reporting systems. Valid safety certifications (NEBOSH/IOSH or equivalent) preferred. Preferred / Relevant Project Exposure Candidates with prior exposure to the following types of works will be strongly considered:Replacement of critical Inconel pipework under individual train shutdowns (e.g., process/relief systems). Replacement of corroded piping with upgraded alloy materials under live plant conditions. Corrosion replacement works executed without plant shutdown. Multi-train shutdown coordination for closed drain, HP/LP relief gas, and similar critical systems. Patch plate repair and pipeline integrity restoration on relief collection headers and recycle lines.
