Role Description The Marketing Manager at LAPP Middle East is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai. This role is responsible for the regional planning and executing marketing strategies that support brand awareness, lead generation, and sales growth for LAPP’s portfolio of cable and connectivity solutions in MEA+ region. Day-to-day activities include developing and managing marketing campaigns, coordinating digital and offline activities, overseeing content creation, and ensuring consistent brand messaging across all channels. The Marketing Manager collaborates closely with sales, product management, and global marketing teams to align local initiatives with global objectives, analyze market trends, and identify growth opportunities. The role also involves managing external agencies and partners, tracking campaign performance, preparing reports, and optimizing marketing spend. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in marketing strategy, campaign planning, and brand management. Candidates should possess skills in digital marketing, social media management, and marketing analytics. Candidates should possess skills in content creation, copywriting, and strong graphic or visual communication. Candidates should possess skills in market research, competitor analysis, and customer insights. Candidates should possess skills in project management, budget management, and cross-functional collaboration. Relevant bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred. Experience in B2B or industrial/technical sectors, ideally in cables, electrical, or automation industries, is an advantage. The Satcom Direct Government (SDG) Middle East & Africa (MEA) Mil/Gov Sales Manager is responsible for managing existing key accounts and developing and winning new business in the Middle East and Africa, primarily to support the sale of satellite communications (SATCOM) equipment and airtime for Military & Government aircraft.<br><br>You will work closely with the EMEA Director, Global Government, to achieve your region's targets and objectives set each year. There is a mature, existing revenue stream that includes systems integrators, aircraft manufacturers, and in-country partners and government users. However, further growth is essential, particularly to support the new Aero products and services that SDG brings to market in 2026.<br><br>With significant recent growth, now is a great time to come and join the #1 global provider of end-to-end Military and Government Aero Connectivity solutions!<br><br>COME ON BOARD THE SATCOM DIRECT GOVERNMENT SALES TEAM!<br><br>How will you make a difference?<br><br>Manage and lead the existing MEA Mil/Gov accounts across the Middle East and Africa, including key GCC countries (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman), which include Government Customers, MROs, Systems Integrators and Aircraft Manufacturers Develop and grow the pipeline in partnership with the Business Development Lead Schedule and attend on-site customer demos in partnership with the pre-sales engineering team Use entrepreneurial 'flair' to create compelling and innovative commercial proposals Apply good business and sales acumen to negotiate and close deals Oversee and grow the channel/reseller network, encompassing sales of both aero equipment and satellite airtime Lead new product/services go-to-market plans and strategy development, particularly for unmanned platforms, Airborne ISR, VVIP aircraft and multi-role transport Partner with various internal groups (e.g., Engineering, pricing, marketing) when developing new proposals and commercial offers Represent SDG at various regional events, trade shows and conferences to promote our products, increase market awareness and develop new relationships Work autonomously with minimal supervision (post initial onboarding training and familiarisation period) while maintaining good communication with the wider team. Role Description We are seeking a strategic, commercially driven, and analytical Category Manager to develop and execute category strategies that maximize business performance, enhance customer value, and drive sustainable growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing product categories, optimizing assortment, developing supplier partnerships, analyzing market trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction objectives. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing category strategies aligned with organizational goals and market opportunities; analyzing sales performance, customer behavior, market trends, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities and optimize category performance; managing product assortment, pricing strategies, promotional planning, and product lifecycle activities; collaborating with procurement and supplier partners to negotiate commercial agreements, improve product availability, and enhance cost efficiency; evaluating supplier performance and building long-term strategic relationships to support business objectives; monitoring inventory levels, demand forecasts, and replenishment plans to optimize stock availability while minimizing excess inventory; working closely with merchandising, marketing, sales, operations, finance, and supply chain teams to execute category initiatives and product launches; preparing business cases, financial analyses, and category performance reports to support strategic decision-making; identifying opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and operational efficiency; ensuring product compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies; supporting digital commerce initiatives, assortment optimization, and omnichannel retail strategies where applicable; managing category budgets, forecasting, and key performance indicators (KPIs); conducting regular business reviews with suppliers and internal stakeholders; and staying informed about consumer trends, emerging technologies, sustainability initiatives, and industry best practices to drive innovation within assigned categories. The Category Manager is expected to combine commercial acumen with strong analytical and negotiation skills to deliver profitable category growth and exceptional customer experiences. Success in this role requires strategic thinking, effective stakeholder management, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic business environment. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Economics, Retail Management, Commerce, or a related discipline. Strong understanding of category management, merchandising, procurement, supplier management, and retail or commercial operations.
