General Description<br><br>This role is responsible for providing proactive technical and estimation support for all project requirements and submittals during tendering as well as project execution phase. The role spans mechanical (fluid dynamics) and electrical (genset) systems, with a strong focus on cost estimation for rental framework and maintenance contracts. Proactively update stakeholders on current technical support status, task progression, issues and potential delays. Be fully familiar and conversant with department and company policies, procedures and processes, ensuring all work and actions undertaken are in full compliance at all times. Carry out site visits alongside the applicable Project Engineer and Operations Supervisor where required. Generate, and/or direct the draftsman to produce, ad hoc Auto CAD drawings. Qualification Requirements<br><br> Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from an internationally recognized University. Minimum 5 years' experience in an estimation or technical support role, including framework and maintenance contract tendering. GCC experience is essential, with demonstrable exposure to UAE client specifications, authority requirements and regional supply-chain pricing. Proficient in Mechanical Fluid Dynamics, Pump Applications and Selection. Working knowledge of electrical genset systems, including sizing, load calculations and associated ancillaries. Strong estimation arithmetic and logical reasoning skills, with demonstrable accuracy in quantity take-off, rate build-up and cost modelling. Proficient in Auto CAD, Microsoft Office suite, particularly MS Excel. Effective communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation skills. <p><strong>Job Purpose:</strong></p><br><p>The Senior Inspection & Reliability Engineer will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of condition monitoring systems for crane and equipment as well as being responsible for the RAT (Rope Access) inspection team. You will ensure optimal selection of condition monitoring devises for various applications and install and monitor equipment performance, safety, and reliability in order to minimizing downtime and maintenance costs for our clients. You will work closely with engineering, maintenance, and field personnel to analyze data and provide insights for continuous improvement.</p><br><p><strong>Key Accountabilities:</strong></p><br><p>Responsible for developing and implementing condition monitoring programs for cranes, including vibration analysis, thermographic inspections, ultrasonic and other techniques for condition monitoring. Deliver structured training to client staff in the use of condition monitoring techniques. <h4>Key responsibilities</h4>

<li><strong>Cost control & budget monitoring:</strong> Oversee and manage the project's cost control processes, ensuring adherence to the approved budget.</li>
<li><strong>Forecasting & cost reporting:</strong> Prepare and submit regular cost reports, providing accurate forecasts and financial updates to the project team.</li>
<li><strong>Variation cost evaluation:</strong> Analyze and assess variation orders, ensuring they are within the project's financial scope and budget.</li>
<li><strong>Cash flow monitoring:</strong> Monitor and manage the project's cash flow, ensuring timely payments and financial stability.</li>
<li><strong>Commercial team coordination:</strong> Collaborate closely with the commercial team to align cost control strategies and ensure smooth project execution.</li>
<li><strong>Contracts team coordination:</strong> Work with the contracts team to review and negotiate contracts, ensuring cost-effective solutions.</li>
<li><strong>Planning team coordination:</strong> Collaborate with the planning team to integrate cost control measures into the project's overall planning and scheduling.</li>
<li><strong>Risk assessment:</strong> Identify and assess financial risks, developing mitigation strategies to minimize potential impacts on the project's budget.</li>
<li><strong>Value engineering:</strong> Implement value engineering techniques to optimize costs without compromising project quality or scope.</li>
</ul>
<h4>Qualifications and skills</h4>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management is mandatory.</li>
<li>Specialization or extensive experience in cost control or quantity surveying is essential.</li>
<li>Strong hands-on experience in cost management can be considered in lieu of formal specialization.</li>
<li>PMP certification is an advantage but not mandatory.</li>
<li>Cost control or estimation courses are preferred, demonstrating a strong understanding of cost management principles.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Primavera P6 is highly desirable for effective project planning and control.</li>
<li>Experience in infrastructure projects, particularly in roads, utilities, networks, and earthworks, is highly preferred.</li>
<li>Familiarity with multi-package environments is a strong advantage, ensuring effective coordination and cost control across various project packages.</li>
<li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for evaluating complex cost data and making informed decisions.</li>
<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required for effective collaboration with various project teams.</li>
