The Senior Mechanical Engineer is responsible for leading and managing mechanical engineering activities on construction projects, ensuring proper planning, execution, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment in compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, applicable standards, quality requirements, and HSE practices. * Lead and oversee installation, testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning of mechanical equipment and systems.

<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><ul><li><p>Preparing the Design & Irrigation drawings based on the given Landscape concept drawing.</p></li><li><p>Helping in preparing the estimation.</p></li><li><p>Preparing shop drawing as per the site condition.</p></li><li><p>Preparing the material list to execute the Job.</p></li><li><p>Getting the quote from the supplier with the budgeted price for constructing the site.</p></li><li><p>Economical utilization of the manpower coordinating with the supervisor.</p></li><li><p>Attending meetings with Consultants and Project Managers from the client side for site coordination</p></li><li><p>Ensuring daily site visit and progress meeting with Site Foreman for building the team</p></li><li><p>Preparing daily progress report and cost analysis report to Line Manager.</p></li><li><p>Method statement of works and inspection test plan as per the project specification, coordinating with the Consultant for approval.</p></li><li><p>As built drawings for completed works raising final handover inspection closing all the snags issued by consultant and submitting.</p></li><li><p>Preparing the Operation and maintenance manual</p></li><li><p>Maintaining the irrigation system in the existing maintenance sites as per the seasonal requirements.</p></li><li><p>Frequent visit for ensuring the best performance of the irrigation system.</p></li><li><p>Scheduling the daily, weekly and monthly maintenance activities and ensuring the effective use of irrigation water.</p></li><li><p>Complaints on repairs/ damages must be attended on priority basis & within 24hrs.</p></li><li><p>Must have the basic knowledge about the soft landscape.</p></li><li><p>Supervise few AMC sites including the Soft Landscape.</p></li></ul></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><p>Bachelor's degree in irrigation engineering, agricultural engineering or a related field.</p><p>Professional certification in irrigation design or engineering.</p><p>Candidate must have an experience of minimum 5yrs as an irrigation engineer in Landscaping Construction and Maintenance industry in UAE.</p><p>Must have knowledge in AutoCAD and able to design entire irrigation system from the design / concept drawing.</p><p>Strong knowledge of irrigation principles, techniques, and equipment.</p><p>Familiarity with irrigation software and design tools.</p><p>Good and up to date knowledge in DM standard requirements and recommendation for irrigation.</p><p>Must have the valid UAE driving License.</p><p></p></section>
