<ul><li><p>Be responsible for providing and coordinating patient care, educating patients and the public about various health conditions, and providing advice and emotional support to patients and their family members.</p></li><li><p>Assess and identify patients' needs and implement and monitor the patient's medical plan and treatment. They will work with a team of physicians and other health care specialists or allied health in various settings.</p></li><li><p>Perform systematic patient assessment, re-assessment and collect pertinent data about the patient’s health or situation.</p></li><li><p>Understand and analyse the assessment information and data.</p></li><li><p>Determine actual and potential nursing diagnoses, tool.</p></li><li><p>Recognize and respond to life threatening conditions promptly.</p></li><li><p>Care for patients across all age groups with diverse conditions (e.g. Medical, surgical, obstetric, psychiatric, neonatal, paediatric emergencies).</p></li><li><p>Ability to manage high stress situations with critical thinking and decision making.</p></li><li><p>Administer emergency medications and treatments (e.g., defibrillation, CPR, advanced airway management).</p></li><li><p>Assist in cardiac arrests and stroke care.</p></li><li><p>Insert and manage IV lines, central lines, and other emergency access devices.</p></li><li><p>Critically monitor patients for changes in conditions and intervene as needed.</p></li><li><p>Operate and monitor equipment such as cardiac monitors, ventilators and infusion pumps.</p></li><li><p>Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, radiology, and laboratory staff for rapid diagnostics and care.</p></li><li><p>Provide updates to patient’s families about their condition and care plan.</p></li><li><p>Follow strict infection control protocols to handle emergencies involving contagious diseases or hazardous exposure.</p></li><li><p>Assists physicians in emergency procedures such as intubation, chest tube insertion, suturing and lumbar punctured.</p></li><li><p>Prepare and maintain sterile fields for emergency procedures.</p></li><li><p>Stabilize critically ill patients for admission to the ICU or transfer to another facility.</p></li><li><p>Ensure continuity of care during interdepartmental or interfacility transfers.</p></li><li><p>Maintain readiness for mass casualty incidents or disaster situations.</p></li><li><p>Ensure emergency equipment is functional and supplies are adequately stocked.</p></li><li><p>Participate in ongoing emergency specific trainings (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, PROMPT certification).</p></li><li><p>Train or mentor new staff in emergency protocols and procedures.</p></li><li><p>Adhere to hospital policies and department specific protocols.</p></li><li><p>Participate in quality improvement initiative for the Emergency Department.</p></li><li><p>Performs other related duties as assigned to meet the operational needs of the department.</p></li><li><p>Perform clinical and procedural competencies as per department requirements, guided by competency checklists available on the Elsevier platform.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrate proficiency in emergency procedures, equipment, and protocols relevant to the emergency department.</p></li><li><p>Complete and maintain all assigned competencies on the Elsevier platform to ensure adherence to evidence-based practices.</p></li><li><p>Participate in ongoing programs and certifications to support professional growth and maintain clinical competency.</p></li><li><p>Ensure all equipment is maintained in good working order, reporting any fault to Nurse Manager/Engineering.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li><p>Have an appropriate license to work as a registered nurse in the relevant regulatory health authority with all the qualifications and experience these mandates.</p></li><li><p>Manage their own professional re-licensure.</p></li><li><p>Hold a valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider card.</p></li><li><p>Be willing to work across departments and On Call when necessary.</p></li></ul>
<p>To ensure the safety of the guests in the waterpark and prevent accidents by monitoring aquatic environments, enforcing safety rules, and responding to emergencies with prompt rescues and first aid. Key responsibilities include patrolling water areas and slides, recognizing signs of distress, performing water rescues, administering first aid and CPR, maintaining water quality and cleanliness, and collaborating with the team to uphold the overall safety of the waterpark.</p><ul><li><p>Vigilant Surveillance: Continuously scan the waterpark area and observe guest activities to identify potential hazards, unsafe behaviors, or patrons in distress. </p></li><li><p>Emergency Response: Act quickly and appropriately to emergencies by performing rescues, administering first aid and CPR, and ensuring the safety of all patrons in and around the water attractions. </p></li><li><p>Rule Enforcement: Clearly communicate and enforce all waterpark rules and regulations to ensure guest compliance and a safe environment for everyone. </p></li><li><p>Facility and Equipment Inspection: Conduct daily safety checks of the waterpark, including slides, pools, equipment, and surrounding areas, reporting any unsafe conditions or hazards to management. </p></li><li><p>Safety Communication: Educate waterpark guests about safety guidelines and warnings, such as those for weather or specific attractions, to promote a culture of water safety. </p></li><li><p>Maintenance and Cleaning: Assist with maintaining a clean and organized waterpark, which may include tasks such as sweeping decks, picking up litter, and general upkeep of facilities.
</p></li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li><p>Current Lifeguard certification</p></li><li><p>CPR and First Aid certification</p></li><li><p>Previous experience in a lifeguard or similar role preferred.</p></li><li><p>Strong swimming skills and physical fitness.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.</p></li></ul>
