Role Summary<br>We are seeking an experienced ELV Business Unit Head to lead and grow our Extra Low Voltage systems business, encompassing CCTV, Building Management Systems (BMS), Fire Alarm Systems, Access Control Systems, and Lighting Control. The ideal candidate combines strong technical project management expertise with commercial and business acumen, capable of driving P&L ownership, business development, technical delivery, and team leadership across the ELV portfolio.<br>This is a leadership role requiring end-to-end ownership — from pre-sales and bid strategy through design, execution, and profitable project closure — while building long-term client relationships and expanding the ELV business line.<br>Key Responsibilities<br>1. Business Unit Leadership & P&L Ownership Own the P&L for the ELV business unit, driving revenue growth, margin improvement, and cost control. Develop and execute the annual business plan, budgets, and growth strategy for CCTV, BMS, Fire Alarm, Access Control, and Lighting verticals. Identify new market opportunities, service lines, and strategic partnerships to expand the ELV portfolio. Report business performance, forecasts, and risk assessments to senior leadership/board.<br>2. Business Development & Client Relationship Management Drive sales pipeline development for ELV projects across commercial, residential, industrial, and infrastructure segments. Build and maintain relationships with consultants, main contractors, developers, OEMs/vendors (CCTV, BMS, FA, ACS, lighting brands), and key clients. Lead bid strategy, proposal development, commercial negotiations, and contract closure. Represent the company in client meetings, industry events, and vendor partnership discussions.<br>3. Technical Oversight Across ELV Disciplines Provide technical leadership and quality assurance across:CCTV/Surveillance systems (IP-based, analytics, VMS integration) BMS (HVAC integration, energy management, SCADA/BACnet/Modbus protocols) Fire Alarm Systems (addressable/conventional, compliance with NFPA/local civil defense codes) Access Control Systems (card/biometric access, integration with security systems) Lighting Control Systems (DALI, KNX, smart lighting integration) Review system designs, BOQs, technical submittals, and ensure compliance with codes, standards, and client specifications. Oversee integration across systems (IBMS/converged platforms) to ensure interoperability.<br>4. Project & Program Management Oversee project execution across multiple concurrent ELV projects — ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Implement standardized project management frameworks (scheduling, risk management, resource planning, change management). Monitor project profitability, manage variations/claims, and resolve execution bottlenecks. Ensure adherence to HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) standards on all project sites.<br>5. Team Leadership & Capability Building Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team including project managers, design engineers, site engineers, and technicians. Build technical capability across all ELV verticals through training and certification programs. Drive performance management, resource planning, and succession planning within the unit.<br>6. Vendor & Supply Chain Management Manage relationships with OEMs and technology partners (e.g., Honeywell, Bosch, Hikvision, Siemens, Johnson Controls, Schneider, Lenel, HID, etc.). Negotiate pricing, partnership agreements, and ensure access to latest technologies. Evaluate and onboard new vendors/subcontractors as needed.<br>Key Requirements Education Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering or related field. MBA or equivalent business management qualification preferred. Experience12–18+ years of experience in ELV systems, with at least 5 years in a business unit leadership/P&L role. Proven track record across CCTV, BMS, Fire Alarm, Access Control, and Lighting Control projects. Experience managing projects in [commercial/residential/infrastructure/industrial/data center] sectors. Demonstrated experience in business development, bid management, and client relationship management. Technical Skills Strong knowledge of ELV system design, integration platforms, and industry standards (NFPA, BS EN, NEC, local civil defense/fire codes). Familiarity with IBMS/converged security & building automation platforms. Working knowledge of relevant protocols (BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP, ONVIF, KNX, DALI). Job Description<br><br>Job Purpose<br><br>At Base Maintenance, our expert engineers deliver unparalleled service for all aircraft checks, from comprehensive inspections to major system repairs. We handle cabin retrofits, aircraft deliveries, and detailed inspection programs for Airbus A380, A350 and Boeing 777.<br><br>Our team excels in timely, cost-effective solutions for A & C checks, engine change, and landing gear changes, along with unscheduled maintenance and pre-service checks.<br><br>As a Lead Aircraft Mechanic you will be Responsible for carrying out maintenance tasks on Emirates and third-party aircraft components in accordance with laid down procedures and regulations. The Lead Aircraft Mechanic will work as part of a team under the direction and guidance of the assigned Licensed Engineer within the trade disciplines for which they have been trained.<br><br>In this role you will<br><br>Carry out routine servicing tasks as required in accordance with component maintenance manual procedures, observing all safety procedures and manufacturers/company regulations. Complete any component replacement and other maintenance activities as directed by immediate supervisor. This will include the ability to obtain and understand Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Illustrated Parts catalogue (IPC) or other approved documentation required to carry out this task. Effectively use any specialised tooling or test equipment that may be required as part of the checking, testing, replacement or servicing of a system or component. Understand the need for such equipment as referenced in the component manufacturers manuals is essential. Communicate at various levels and liaise with other areas over technical issues for all relevant parties to be aware of the aircraft’s serviceability status. Understand of the company documentation where it is required that mechanics sign for tasks action on routine documentation to ensure the maintenance of tools, equipment and systems (including ultramain) in the relevant workplace. Maintain and ensure the safety of self and others by always taking safety precautions, continuously monitoring the working area and taking corrective action to keep it clean and obstruction free to avoid any accidents.<br><br>Specific Job Accountabilities For Emirates Flight Training Academy (EFTA)<br><br>Complete maintenance and servicing activities for the Academy’s fleet to directly contribute to the safety and airworthiness of the academy’s operation. Assist in the recovery of an AOG across EFTA operation including diversionary airfields. Support the line operation of EFTA aircraft as required by operational needs to ensure the training programme is maintained and that aircraft is clean and prepared for departure.<br><br>Qualification<br><br>To be considered for the role, you must have the below<br><br>Vocational/ National / Higher National Diploma (12+2 or equivalent) or Apprenticeship in Mechanical, Electronic, Avionics or Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent training with a reputable airline or an approved maintenance organisation.<br><br>Knowledge/Skills<br><br>Experience carrying out maintenance on aircraft in an engineering environment. In depth knowledge of maintenance safety, human factors and general engineering practices is an essential requirement. A complete knowledge of the airport authority regulations regarding Airside Driving and aircraft movements may be a requirement depending on the work discipline. This will include the safe movement around aircraft on the ramp/in base including an understanding of all signs and road markings of working in such an environment if required in this area of operation.
