<p>My client a leading Real Estate Developer is looking for a Senior Development Manager in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As the Senior Development Manager your role is pivotal in leading development projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the development process, including site selection, due diligence, entitlements, design, construction, and project delivery under guidance of the Development Director.
Additionally, you will be responsible with identifying new development opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring all development projects are accomplished on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, ensuring alignment with industry standards, market trends, and overarching vision.
Roles & Responsibilities:
The selected individual is expected to be responsible for managing:
* Project Management: Lead and manage all aspects of development process, from initial feasibility studies to project completion.
* Assist in Site Selection and Due Diligence: o Identify and evaluate potential development sites and assess project feasibility.
* Conduct thorough due diligence, to assess potential risks, legal issues, and compliance with local regulations.
* Entitlements and Approvals: Navigate the entitlement process, secure necessary permits, and approvals, and ensure compliance with zoning and land use regulations.
* Development Briefs - Create clear development briefs to direct and guide the design, delivery, and operations of all assets within the project.
* Design and Planning: Oversee and Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other consultants to ensure design development and project designs and plans are aligned with the development briefs and meet objectives and standards.
* Construction Management: Oversee construction activities, monitor progress, and address any issues or challenges that may arise during the construction phase to ensure development brief integrity is maintained.
* Project Budgeting and Financial Management: Develop and manage project budgets for development projects, including cost estimation, expense tracking, and financial reporting, and ensure projects are aligned with the approved business plan created by the development department.
* Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with each project and implement strategies to mitigate risk and ensure successful project delivery.

* Strong understanding of real estate finance and investment principles, including financial analysis, budgeting, and risk management.
* Proficiency in project management software and tools.
* Familiarity with sustainable building practices and environmental regulations is a plus.
* Fluent in English, Arabic is a plus.
