<p>Our Multi National Design & Supervision Consultancy client has a new requirement for a well experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join their team in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Senior Planning Engineer on new build commercial, hospitality and residential projects in the UAE and ideally have worked for a recognised design or engineering consultancy company previously,
This role is available for immediate joining and is for an initial 6 month fixed term contract as an outsourced employee through J10 Consulting.
Key Responsibilities:
• The Senior Planner is responsible for developing, updating, and monitoring baseline project schedules, analyzing critical paths, and tracking progress to ensure timely delivery.
• Establish, update, and manage the integrated baseline Master Project Schedule (using Primavera P6) in alignment with contractual requirements.
• Track daily, weekly, and monthly site progress against the approved baseline, identifying variances and generating Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics.
• Continuously analyze the critical path and near-critical paths to forecast potential delays and recommend mitigation or catch-up plans to project management.
• Evaluate the contractor’s Extension of Time (EOT) submissions by performing forensic delay analyses (e.g., Time Impact Analysis, As Planned vs. As-Built).

<strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong>Here's what you'll do during a typical day:<br><br><strong>Essential Functions<br><br></strong><ul><li>Lead, plan, coordinate, implement, and/or facilitate corporate and hotel training programs in accordance with current Hilton requirements, including diversity and inclusion, new team member orientation, communication, leadership, service excellence, and other training programs aligned with departmental needs.</li><li>Assess hotel-wide and departmental training needs through performance trends, guest feedback, quality audits, compliance reviews, and consultation with department leaders. Develop, source, and recommend targeted training solutions to support team development and business needs.</li><li>Review, update, and maintain hotel training materials, programs, and resources to ensure alignment with Hilton standards, hotel requirements, operational needs, and current best practices.</li><li>Oversee and monitor departmental training programs, including Food Safety, Alcohol Awareness, and other required operational and compliance training. Conduct regular audits and follow up with departments to ensure completion and adherence to standards.</li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records for all team members, including departmental orientation and mandatory training, and ensure records are properly tracked, audited, and maintained within the designated systems.</li><li>Develop and maintain the annual hotel training calendar, ensuring training priorities are aligned with business needs and operational requirements.
