<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> About the job SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER <p>We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with 15+ years of experience in Oil &amp; Gas / EPC projects to support an ADNOC Onshore project. The candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating mechanical activities at site, with strong experience in construction, installation, testing, pre-commissioning and commissioning. The ideal candidate must be ADNOC Approved and have hands-on experience in major onshore Oil &amp; Gas projects.</p><br> <p><strong>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><br> <ul> <li>Supervise and coordinate mechanical construction and installation activities at site.</li> <li>Review and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, method statements and project requirements.</li> <li>Coordinate with engineering, construction, commissioning, QA/QC and subcontractor teams.</li> <li>Monitor installation and construction activities for mechanical equipment and systems.</li> <li>Coordinate mechanical works including static equipment, rotating equipment, packages, tanks, pressure vessels, pumps, compressors and associated systems, as applicable to the project.</li> <li>Ensure mechanical activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, project procedures and ADNOC standards.</li> <li>Coordinate with other disciplines to resolve site technical and construction issues.</li> <li>Monitor subcontractor activities, productivity, progress and quality.</li> <li>Participate in inspections, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning and system handover activities.</li> <li>Support equipment installation, alignment, preservation and mechanical completion activities.</li> <li>Review RFIs, technical queries, site instructions and engineering changes.</li> <li>Coordinate with QA/QC for inspection, testing and documentation requirements.</li> <li>Participate in site walkdowns, punch-list preparation and clearance.</li> <li>Support mechanical completion, commissioning and handover activities.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements and safe working practices.</li> <li>Provide technical support to the construction and commissioning teams throughout the project.</li> </ul> <p><strong>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><br> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.</li> <li>15+ years of relevant experience in Oil &amp; Gas / Petrochemical / Industrial projects.</li> <li>ADNOC Approval is mandatory.</li> <li>Strong experience in ADNOC Onshore projects is required.</li> <li>Proven experience in site-based mechanical construction and commissioning.</li> <li>Strong exposure to mechanical equipment installation and construction activities.</li> <li>Experience with relevant mechanical disciplines, including static equipment, rotating equipment, packages, tanks, vessels, pumps, compressors and associated mechanical systems, depending on project scope.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of mechanical construction methodologies, inspection requirements and QA/QC procedures.</li> <li>Experience coordinating with EPC contractors, subcontractors, consultants and client teams.</li> <li>Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, equipment specifications, datasheets and construction documents.</li> <li>Experience with mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, commissioning, punch-list clearance and handover.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of Oil &amp; Gas site safety requirements and permit-to-work procedures.</li> <li>Willingness to work site-based in the UAE.</li> </ul><p>VERTICAL</p><br><p>ENGINEERING</p><br> <br> <br> </div>
