Job Description<br><br>Wood is seeking an experienced PMC Lead Contract Engineer to support the delivery of the ADNOC Offshore Umm Shaif Gas Cap Phase 1 Onshore Project (Packages 2 & 3). The role will be responsible for leading all contract administration, commercial management, contractual compliance, change management and claims activities throughout the project lifecycle.<br><br>The successful candidate will provide contractual and commercial leadership to the PMC, ADNOC and EPC Contractor teams, ensuring the effective administration of project contracts and safeguarding the client's commercial interests. The role will act as the focal point for all contractual matters, supporting project management through proactive contract management, risk mitigation, claims assessment and dispute avoidance while ensuring compliance with ADNOC requirements, project procedures and industry best practices.<br><br>Responsibilities<br><br>Lead all contract administration and contract management activities for assigned project packages. Serve as the primary PMC focal point for contractual matters between ADNOC Offshore, PMC and EPC Contractors. Review and administer EPC, procurement, construction and service contracts throughout project execution. Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in contract management and contract administration within the oil & gas industry. Significant experience supporting major onshore and offshore Greenfield developments. Extensive experience managing EPC, EPCM, PMC and major construction contracts. Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial management and contract administration principles. Proven experience evaluating contractor claims, variations and Extension of Time (EOT) submissions. Experience supporting large-scale oil & gas capital projects throughout execution and close-out phases. Strong understanding of change management, claims management and dispute resolution processes. Experience reviewing project schedules and project controls information for contractual assessments. Familiarity with international contract forms and contractual frameworks. Experience working with multidisciplinary project teams and multiple stakeholder environments. Previous experience working within a PMC/EPCM environment representing the Owner/Operator. Strong understanding of ADNOC contractual and commercial processes is highly desirable. Al Reyadah is, therefore, a critical enabler of ADNOC’s 2030 sustainability goals. </p><br><br><br>Job Purpose <br><p>Coordinate the activities of Civil and building maintenance, structural alterations and modifications, prepare and administer maintenance contracts to assure contractors adherence to its contractual obligations, This includes preparing maintenance programs, prepare technical feasibility studies and cost estimates for civil maintenance at ADNOC owned properties including office buildings, residential VIP villas and other owned, leased properties within Abu Dhabi City and Ruwais City. </p><br><br><br>Job Specific Accountabilities <br><p><strong>Operation and Maintenance Services</strong><br>• Provide technical expertise and monitor all the civil maintenance activities related to building Operation and Maintenance as per defined service levels agreements (SLA), KPIs, Specifications and Operational Methodologies for ADNOC owned properties which include all office buildings and VIP staffs, private accommodations in and outside Abu Dhabi city.<br>• Verify and ensure that civil works such as repairs are executed promptly and efficiently in accordance with professional standards and company policies. Guide Civil Supervisors located at all locations in Abu Dhabi and Ruwais City on technical matters.<br>• Assist for the preparation of annual preventive maintenance programs for all civil and building maintenance works with monthly breakdown, approves monthly programs submitted by subordinates, analyses updated monthly programs to determine extent of work planned and takes appropriate action to accomplish planned tasks.<br>• Advise and support in the preparation of technical specifications to enable the development of contracts and tenders. Provide assistance and evaluate the provisions of maintenance contracts from the viewpoint of quality, standards and performance of work and submit recommendations to with justifications. Includes visiting work locations and making overall performance rating on contractor's work and certifying work completion / work orders for payment.<br>• Participate in contract / purchase committee meetings and provide technical evaluation and clarifications.<br>• Verify and ensure the Implementation of PPM plan, PPM Checklists, Method statement and Risk assessment processes in O&M services.<br>• Assist in the PPM of all civil items as scheduled and ensure that all door closers, door sealing, openings and insulations are intact and promptly rectified<br>• Monitor implementation of Quality management systems as per approved QMS Procedures. Monitor and identify Non-conformities including contractors and follow up for remedial actions for close out of NCR and measure their performances.<br>• Follow up with contractor's management on matters related to Works, schedule, Quality and HSE standards and performance in monthly bases.<br>• Inspect and verify spares requirement prepared by Engineer/Contractor to ensure that such spares, stock items and non-stock items are available at all times.<br>• Participate in the review and approval process of Manpower for Service Providers.<br>• Participate in the review & selection process of SSPs/Sub-contractors for Service Providers. <br>• Assist Senior Civil Engineer Maintenance in conducting Contractor’s Performance Evaluations.<br>• Review Monthly Progress reports & Payment certificates from Service Providers.<br>• Participate in the Preparation & Review of Scope for WSO including its Technical & Commercial evaluations.<br>• Assists Senior Civil Engineer Maintenance to prepare technical specifications and scope of works to enable Group Procurement Unit to develop contracts and issue tenders for annual / long term maintenance requirements and in developing the maintenance requirement of new properties that are being handed over to Civil Maintenance Section.<br>• Prepares feasibility reports, engineering drawings and cost estimates for additions, alterations, expansion, and modification of all civil related assets at best engineering practices.</p><br><br><br>Minimum Qualification <br><p>Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.</p><br><br><br>Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills <br><p>• 6 years of experience in design, construction and maintenance works of multi-storied building in a large organization.<br>• Experience in inventory control and budgeting<br>• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions<br>• Ability to comprehend blueprint details and specifications<br>• Ability to plan and schedule daily and weekly work schedules for staff<br>• The ability to communicate both in written and verbal form.</p><br><br><br>Professional Certifications <br><p>PMP/CFM (Preferable).</p><br><br><br><br><br> </div>
