<p>Our Leading International Consultancy client has a new requirement for a Senior Fire & Life Safety Consultant to join their team in Dubai to work on high profile projects in the Emirates. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Senior FLS Consultant working for recognised supervision consultants or PMC Companies. This role is available for immediate joining and is an initial 3-6 month contract as an outsource employed by J10 Consulting. Key Responsibilities: • Design Oversight: Assist in providing technical input and consultation on fire and life safety systems, including fire detection and alarm systems, water-based suppression systems, clean agent extinguishing systems, smoke control systems, and passive fire protection systems for complex projects. Prepare and support design submissions, calculations, and Fire & Life Safety Strategy reports in coordination with senior engineers. Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and professional communication across all deliverables. • Compliance & Inspection: Support verification that designs and installations comply with applicable local and international fire and life safety codes and standards. Participate in training programmes, technical workshops, and continuous professional development activities. • Business Development: Contribute to bid submissions and proposals, attend client meetings, and support the company representation at industry and client events. • Thought Leadership: Support the profile of the companies Fire & Life Safety team through involvement in conferences, technical publications, and professional forums.</p><p>Senior FLS Consultant Experience: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Fire Safety Engineering, Fire Engineering, or a closely related discipline • Pursuing professional license and/or certifications in fire protection (PE, CEng, CFPS or equivalent) are highly desirable. • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in fire life safety/protection engineering consulting. • Knowledge of UAE building codes, international codes, and standards (SBC, IBC, NFPA, BS, and others). • Experience in fire protection design, fire detection and alarm systems, smoke control systems, risk assessments, and compliance audits. • Effective communication and leadership skills.</p>
