This role works closely with project, engineering, and operations teams to deliver secure, resilient, and high-performing infrastructure solutions while ensuring successful deployment, documentation, and operational handover.<br>The Network & Security Implementation Engineer applies deep technical expertise across networking, security, and infrastructure technologies to support business-critical environments and contribute to successful customer outcomes.<br><br><b>Key responsibilities:</b><ul><li>Design, implement, and support enterprise network and security solutions across customer environments.</li><li>Deploy, configure, and maintain firewall, IPS, web security, email security, NAC, endpoint security, and SD-WAN technologies.</li><li>Implement and support routing, switching, wireless, and network infrastructure solutions.</li><li>Perform installation, testing, troubleshooting, optimization, and operational support activities across network and security platforms.</li><li>Develop and maintain High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), implementation, and as-built documentation.</li><li>Participate in project planning, solution design, technical workshops, and Bill of Quantity (BOQ) preparation activities.</li><li>Ensure successful project delivery through deployment, implementation, testing, validation, and operational handover.</li><li>Support centralized management, monitoring, reporting, and automation platforms for network and security environments.</li><li>Collaborate with implementation, operations, support, and customer teams to ensure service quality and operational stability.</li><li>Provide technical troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for network and security incidents.</li><li>Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance infrastructure security, performance, and availability.</li><li>Adhere to organizational standards, best practices, and IT Service Management (ITSM) processes.</li></ul><br><br><br><b>To thrive in this role, you need to have:</b><ul><li>Strong understanding of enterprise networking and cybersecurity principles.</li><li>Good knowledge of firewall technologies, intrusion prevention systems, web and email security solutions.</li><li>Solid understanding of routing, switching, wireless networking, SD-WAN, and network security architectures.</li><li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.</li><li>Ability to interpret technical requirements and translate them into practical solutions.</li><li>Good understanding of network security best practices and operational controls.</li><li>Strong documentation skills with experience producing HLD, LLD, and As-Built documentation.</li><li>Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.</li><li>Strong time management and task prioritization abilities.</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively within project and operational teams.</li><li>Customer-focused approach with a commitment to service excellence.</li><li>Ability to support secure, stable, and resilient infrastructure operations.</li></ul><br><br><br><b>Academic qualifications and certifications:</b><ul><li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>Relevant vendor certifications in Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, or equivalent technologies are required.</li><li>Additional industry certifications related to networking, cybersecurity, or infrastructure technologies are advantageous.</li></ul><br><br><br><b>Required experience:</b><ul><li>Demonstrable experience in enterprise networking, network security, and infrastructure implementation roles.</li><li>Hands-on experience with firewall administration and security policy management across Cisco FTD/FMC, Palo Alto, and FortiGate platforms.</li><li>Experience with intrusion prevention, web security, email security, network access control, and endpoint security technologies.</li><li>Experience implementing and supporting routing, switching, wireless, and SD-WAN environments.</li><li>Experience with centralized management and monitoring tools such as Cisco Catalyst Center, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer.</li><li>Experience with network and security implementation projects from design through operational handover.</li><li>Experience in solution design, project delivery, testing, deployment, and technical documentation.</li><li>Understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and operational support frameworks.</li><li>Experience working with cross-functional teams in project delivery and operational environments.</li><li>Experience supporting business-critical network and security infrastructure.</li></ul><br><br><br><p><b><span>Workplace type</span>: </b></p><br><br>On-site Working<br><p><b>About NTT DATA</b><br>NTT DATA is a $30+ billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune </p><br><br><p>Global 100.
