Given that each claim is different in its nature, circumstances, complexity, territory/jurisdiction and magnitude, the job holder is required to possess and exhibit extensive knowledge of the intricacies and sensitivities involved in each and must possess full insurance technical knowledge, and comprehension, of the cover, implications and requirements of the various insurance policies (eg. Property, Casualty, Financial Lines, Life/Personal Accident, Marine, Motor Vehicle, etc.) that could get triggered for the purpose of claims recovery.</span></li><li><span>Analyse and evaluate insurance policy coverage terms, conditions, exclusions and warranties relevant to the incident and operations of the business unit and determine the implications on recovery, or otherwise, from insurers and external parties in order to strategize claims processing and recoveries.</span></li><li><span>Ensure timely notification of claims to underwriters, surveyors, loss adjusters, solicitors, and responsible third parties in order to comply with statutory insurance, insurance and legal requirements - thereby securing each business units right of claim against insurers and third parties involved. <section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p>We are seeking an experienced and reliable Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team and take responsibility for a designated section of the hot kitchen. The successful candidate will work under the Head Chef/Sous Chef to deliver high-quality dishes consistently, maintain kitchen standards and support junior kitchen staff. This is a full-time position and requires flexibility to work early starts, evenings and weekends as required.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>Section Management</strong><br>• Run a allocated section of the hot kitchen efficiently during service, ensuring dishes are prepared and plated to the required standard and timing.<br>• Maintain consistency of portioning, presentation and quality in line with menu specifications and recipes.</p></li><li><p><strong>Food Preparation & Cooking</strong><br>• Prepare mise en place for the section, including portioning, trimming, marinating and pre-cooking as required.<br>• Execute cooking techniques on hot kitchen equipment (grill, sauté, fry, oven) with accuracy and speed.</p></li><li><p><strong>Supervision & Training</strong><br>• Supervise and support junior kitchen staff (Commis and apprentices), providing guidance, on-the-job training and constructive feedback.<br>• Allocate tasks, monitor performance and ensure clear communication across the team.</p></li><li><p><strong>Kitchen Operations & Hygiene</strong><br>• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, personal hygiene and food safety at all times.<br>• Follow correct food storage, rotation (FIFO) and temperature-control procedures and ensure the section complies with HACCP/food safety policies.</p></li><li><p><strong>Stock Control & Ordering</strong><br>• Monitor ingredient usage and notify the Senior Chef/Head Chef of reorder requirements; assist with stock counts and receiving deliveries.<br>• Minimise waste through efficient preparation and portion control.</p></li><li><p><strong>Menu Development & Quality</strong><br>• Contribute to menu suggestions and recipe improvements, offering practical ideas to enhance flavour, presentation and cost control.<br>• Ensure consistency with portion sizes and plating standards during service and when training others.</p></li><li><p><strong>Health & Safety</strong><br>• Comply with all health and safety regulations in the kitchen environment and report hazards or incidents promptly.<br>• Ensure equipment is used safely and maintained in good working order.</p></li></ul></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><ul><li><p>Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a professional hot kitchen, with at least 1 year in a Chef de Partie or equivalent role.</p></li><li><p>Strong practical knowledge of hot kitchen operations, cooking techniques and station management.</p></li><li><p>Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices (Food Hygiene certificate desirable).</p></li><li><p>Ability to work efficiently under pressure, maintain composure during busy service and deliver consistent quality.</p></li><li><p>Good command of English and clear communication skills.</p></li><li><p>Reliable, punctual and flexible with working hours.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Desirable</strong></p><ul><li><p>Experience in fine dining, private household, hotel or high-end restaurant environments.</p></li><li><p>Formal culinary qualification or apprenticeship.</p></li><li><p>Previous experience supervising and mentoring junior staff.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of cost control and basic recipe costing.</p></li></ul><p>Package</p><p>Competitive salary package. <section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><ul><li><p>Advise on tasks related to Infrastructure and Bridges from design stage through to execution and handover phases. </p></li><li><p>Manage Design Manager and Design teams to develop and execute Infrastructure & Bridges designs that meet client requirements and regulatory standards. </p></li><li><p>Ensure Design Manager records any changes/ Value Engineering items and are implemented within the design and all associated cost and time implications are identified and agreed. </p></li><li><p>Coordination with all Dredging and Marine works and any other future packages that may be undertaken concurrently with this role. </p></li><li><p>Review and recommend possible Infrastructure/ Bridge Package Procurement Strategies for review, discussion and implementation. </p></li><li><p>Ensure coordination between Design, Construction and Commercial disciplines in terms of Infrastructure and Bridge construction. </p></li><li><p>Manage and direct Senior PMs and Construction Managers. </p></li><li><p>Review progress and adherence to Technical, Safety and Quality standards. </p></li><li><p>Ensure Quality Standards across all works are achieved. </p></li><li><p>Ensure that the highest levels of Site Safety are established, implemented and maintained. </p></li><li><p>Ensure continual compliance with overall project delivery strategies and timescales. </p></li><li><p>Ensure all parties perform in accordance with their contracted services and their duties agreed under the responsibility matrix.</p></li><li><p>Early identification of strategy or procedural inefficiencies and development. </p></li><li><p>Evaluation of progress on the Construction Methodology & Schedules for the Infrastructure and Bridges packages and champions any necessary mitigating actions with relevant parties in respect of cost deviations and/ or time slippage.</p></li><li><p>Review the Contractor’s submitted Monthly Reports.</p></li><li><p>Ensure perceived project risks are communicated to the Project Director and Delivery Teams.</p></li><li><p>Ensure the monitoring and review of Consultants’ / Contractors’ performance, give regular, objective feedback on progress, and deal immediately with poor performance.</p></li><li><p>Ensure adequate Risk Assessments and Method Statements are produced, reviewed and signed off. </p></li><li><p>Ensure Project Risks are timeously identified, recorded and have adequate mitigation strategy and responsibilities assigned and are fed into a central Project Risk Register. </p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with all environmental requirements and direction.</p></li><li><p>Ensure all necessary commissioning works are undertaken and any necessary snagging lists are actioned accordingly. </p></li><li><p>Ensure completed Works comply with standards sign off and handover protocols and standards.</p></li><li><p>Ensure all works are coordinated with the overall project/ site logistics, planning and any required modifications are implemented timeously in a proactive manner. </p></li></ul></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction, or a related field; postgraduate qualification (e.g., MSc) preferred</p></li><li><p>Minimum 20+ years of experience in a similar leadership role, with proven delivery of mega projects and large-scale programs</p></li><li><p>Strong ability to think strategically, identify opportunities, and develop innovative solutions to complex challenges</p></li><li><p>Proactive, results-driven approach with strong organizational skills and the ability to respond effectively in dynamic environments</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated leadership capability, including chairing high-level meetings and managing senior stakeholders</p></li><li><p>In-depth knowledge and practical experience with FIDIC forms of contract</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of contractual and legal matters related to large-scale infrastructure and marine project delivery</p></li></ul><p></p></section>
