<p><b><span>Facilities Management</span></b></p>

<li><span>Manage facilities maintenance of the school site and buildings. Where this services is subcontracted to a Third-Party provider, manage and oversee preventative maintenance schedules and the efficient operation of all facilities on the property.</span></li>
<li><span>Oversee School campus lighting, heating, ventilation, water provision, energy conservation, waste management, etc.</span></li>
<li><span> Manage the upkeep of playing fields, gardens, all-weather surfaces, tennis courts and land drainage.</span></li>
<li><span> Purchase, repair and maintain all furniture and fittings, both within the school and within staff accommodation units.</span></li>
<li><span> Be responsible for the procurement of overseas hired staff accommodation leases and negotiate lease rates according to local property regulations.</span></li>
<li><span> Manage the use of school facilities in provision of Third-Party services to include:</span></li>

<li><span>Ensuring daily checks of the site are carried out by the site services team for vandalism, items requiring building maintenance, security of the site and ensuring cleaning standards are acceptable.</span></li>
<li><span>Implement a planned programme to ensure School site is litter/gum free as far as reasonably practicable and that all internal and external areas are kept clean and tidy and policy is adhered too.</span></li>
<li><span>To ensure that security systems and provision is in place at all times and identify trends or weaknesses within the site systems and develop with GEMS Corporate Safety team where appropriate.</span></li>
<li><span> To ensure the CCTV system complies with the data protection act and relevant current legislation.</span></li>

The house bank should be maintained at full value at all times and the responsibility of the Outlet Manager/ Front Office Manager.</li><li>Shortages of more than US$5 (or equivalent) should be paid into the General Cashier within one business day.</li><li>At the end of each shift, each outlet/Front Office Cashier should place the cash sales for the shift in a remittance funds envelope. The front of the envelope should give a clear breakdown of the money being remitted and all envelopes should be deposited into the Cash drop safe located next to Security Office on Ground floor</li><li>All daily 'drops' should be logged in Daily Cash Drop Sheet in Security Office witnessed, verified on the log sheet against each envelope entry and signed by a Security Officer.</li><li>The drop safe will be cleared each morning by the General Cashier in the presence of Security Officer according to Daily Cash Drop Sheet</li><li>Each Envelope will be checked by the General Cashier who will read the cash value written on the envelope and compare number of envelopes upon collection witnessed by Security Officer.</li><li>When settling a guest check by credit card, colleagues should check the following: The signature on the charge card is the same as that on the credit card; The card is valid in terms of expiry date; The card is valid in terms of the credit card company’s list of stolen or stopped cards; and The total of the transaction equals to the total of the check and the amount of tip which the guest has decided to add.</li><li>When our guest settles the check to a room, F&B colleagues must visually verify that the name on the check agrees with the name on the display. About This Opportunity<br><br>We're working with a leading foundational AI lab to find experienced document production specialists who can help train their latest language model on professional document, spreadsheet, and slide deck tasks.<br><br>We're looking for document production specialists with 5+ years reviewing, proofing, and quality-checking business documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks before executive or client delivery to create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows: board-ready slide deck formatting reviews, financial model and spreadsheet formula audits, executive memo proofing passes, brand and template compliance checklists, client-facing proposal document reviews, and cross-document consistency trackers.<br><br>Compensation: $70/hour<br><br>Commitment: Flexible, 5-20 hours per week (or more if desired)<br><br>Location: Fully remote, work on your own schedule<br><br>Start date: ASAP<br><br>Qualifications<br><br> 5+ years in a QA, editorial, or production role reviewing business documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks for accuracy, formatting, and consistency before external delivery Sharp eye for formula errors, broken links, mismatched figures, and formatting drift across Word, Excel, and Power Point (or Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides) deliverables Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail<br><br>About Ethos<br><br>Ethos is a new expert network built by a McKinsey/Soft Bank/Deep Mind team and backed by world-leading investors like General Catalyst.
