We engineer our Sorano products for the requirements of Europe and the Middle East. We are launching in Spain and want to scale to other European countries.
This is a founding team hire. You will help shape how Sorano shows up in the market, from showroom floors and architect specifications to wholesale partnerships, logistics and the next generation of products.
THE ROLE
We are looking for a builder. Someone early enough in their career to be hungry, but sharp enough to design the commercial and operational structure of a multi-country brand from scratch. You will own how Sorano is sold, moved and delivered, the trading flows, the supply chain, the distribution structure and the sales engine that sits on top of them.
You will sit at the intersection of four disciplines: Business Development, Product Management, Logistics and Operations, and translate brand ambition into commercial reality on the ground. This role is uniquely positioned between our China supply chain, our Dubai (JAFZA) trading hub and our distribution channels across Europe and the GCC.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Logistics, Supply Chain & Trading• Own the flow of goods from factory through logistics centres and into showroom and retail outlets: freight, inventory planning, last mile logistics partners and reverse logistics.• Negotiate and manage relationships with freight forwarders and third party logistics centres, and understand specific European technical requirements.• Build the forecasting, replenishment and SKU-level inventory discipline that supports a multi-country rollout.• Manage after-sales operations.
Sales & Commercial Leadership• Build Sorano's sales engine in Europe and the Middle East through distributors, retailers, construction and renovation companies and agents. Business Development & New Markets• Identify and close strategic B2B partnerships: developers, architects, hospitality groups and design studios specifying for residential and hospitality projects.• Build B2C demand through the website and social channels as a lead engine that routes buyers to dealers, with direct e-commerce only once the structure supports it.
Product Management• Act as the voice of the market into the product roadmap (model mix, finishes, spare parts and accessories), working with the CEO, who owns the manufacturing relationship. Operations & Cross-Functional Leadership• Guide and implement a policy of growth, starting with a sales representative and an operations coordinator, then mentor and grow the commercial and operations team as the business expands.• Partner closely with the CEO on strategy, the monthly board pack and the stage-gate milestones.
WHO YOU ARE• 5+ years in supply chain, logistics, trading or commercial operations. Consumer hardware, sanitaryware, building materials or durables experience is a plus, not a prerequisite.• An entrepreneurial builder and founding team member, comfortable with founding-team breadth, pace and ambiguity, and motivated by ownership rather than a job title.• Hands-on experience working with Chinese manufacturers, OEMs or import and export trading flows.• A strong grasp of how goods actually move: freight, customs, 3PLs, inventory planning and product certification requirements, or the ability to master them fast.• Commercially sharp, with the confidence to negotiate with distributors, forwarders and partners several levels more senior than you.• Based out of Dubai, with regular travel across China, Europe and the GCC as the rollout requires.• Fluent English essential; Spanish and Arabic are strong advantages.
NICE TO HAVE
• Time at a leading bathroom or sanitaryware brand (e.g. Vitr A, TOTO, Duravit, Roca, Villeroy & Boch, Laufen) or a premium consumer hardware business.• Experience with smart sanitaryware (bathroom accessories, washlets, bidet seats, electronic toilets) or other electronics-meets-ceramics product categories.• Existing relationships with premium bathroom showrooms, distributors, architects or developer groups in Europe and the Middle East.
WHAT WE OFFER
• A founding-team seat in a category defining European brand at the moment it goes to market.• A fixed monthly salary, performance bonus, and a long-term incentive above agreed thresholds.
