We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Avionics Engineer – A330 to join our Engineering team. The role will support both Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO) activities and active Line/Base Maintenance operations, ensuring the technical integrity, reliability, and continued airworthiness of the Airbus A330 fleet’s avionics, electrical, and cabin electronic systems.<br>The successful candidate will provide high-level technical support for maintenance operations, including O, I and D Level maintenance where applicable, and will act as a technical focal point for complex avionics-related issues.<br>Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline. Support the review and optimization of the avionics and electrical sections of the Aircraft Maintenance Programme. Provide advanced troubleshooting guidance to Line and Base Maintenance teams for complex or recurring avionics defects. Support AOG recovery by coordinating with Airbus Technical Support, OEMs and internal maintenance teams to expedite technical solutions. Monitor and manage MEL deferred defects, ensuring compliance with rectification intervals and operational requirements. Ensure engineering data, repairs and alterations comply with EASA Part-CAMO, Part-145 or applicable local authority requirements. Maintain accurate technical records and support internal and external airworthiness audits. Liaise with OEMs, including Airbus, Thales, Honeywell and other system suppliers, on technical queries, reliability issues and warranty claims. Act as a technical subject matter expert for avionics maintenance issues, supporting quality, safety and effective repair solutions. Comply with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls. The candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating MEP maintenance activities, technicians, and site operations.<br></p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li><p>Supervise and coordinate day-to-day MEP maintenance activities.</p></li><li><p>Manage and allocate work to MEP technicians and maintenance teams.</p></li><li><p>Monitor HVAC, electrical, plumbing and other MEP systems.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance works.</p></li><li><p>Conduct site inspections and ensure quality of completed works.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with clients, subcontractors and internal teams.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with company HSE procedures and site safety requirements.</p></li><li><p>Prepare daily work reports, service reports and maintenance records.</p></li><li><p>Identify technical issues and coordinate timely corrective actions.</p></li><li><p>Ensure work is completed efficiently and within the required timeframe.</p></li></ul><p>Requirements</p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s Degree in <strong>Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Minimum <strong>3–5 years of relevant MEP experience</strong>, with proven <strong>UAE work experience</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Previous experience in <strong>Facilities Management / Technical Services</strong> will be an advantage.</p></li><li><p>Good knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general MEP systems.</p></li><li><p>Ability to supervise technicians and coordinate site activities.</p></li><li><p>Good communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.</p></li><li><p>Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.</p></li><li><p><strong>Valid UAE Driving Licence is mandatory.</strong></p></li><li><p>Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.</p></li></ul><p><br>Preferred Candidate</p><ul><li><p>Engineering background with strong practical MEP knowledge.</p></li><li><p>UAE experience in building maintenance / facilities management.</p></li><li><p>Hands-on approach with good team management skills.</p></li><li><p>Good English communication and reporting skills.</p></li><li><p>Immediate availability will be an advantage.</p></li></ul><p><br><strong>Vacancy:</strong> 1</p><p><strong>Salary:</strong> AED 3.5K to 4.5K</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Note: Only candidates meeting the above requirements and having UAE experience will be considered.</p>
