The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all structural works are executed in accordance with the contract documents, approved drawings, project specifications, applicable codes, and quality standards.<br><br>Working closely with the Resident Engineer and multidisciplinary site team, the Structural Engineer will monitor construction activities, review contractor submissions, inspect structural works, and ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality project delivery from foundation works through to handover.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br><br>Supervise all structural construction activities for villa developments, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and applicable local authority regulations. Conduct regular site inspections of excavation, foundations, reinforced concrete, structural steel (where applicable), retaining walls, and other structural elements. Review and provide technical comments on shop drawings, reinforcement detailing, material submittals, method statements, and Requests for Information. Verify reinforcement installation, concrete placement, formwork, post-tensioning (where applicable), and structural connections prior to construction activities. Witness inspections and testing of structural materials including concrete, reinforcement steel, grout, and other structural components. Monitor contractor workmanship and ensure compliance with project quality plans, Inspection and Test Plans, and health and safety requirements. Identify construction issues and coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, geotechnical specialists, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical and interface challenges. Prepare site inspection reports, non-conformance reports, site instructions, and monitor timely close-out of corrective actions. Review progress against the project and highlight potential risks or delays affecting structural works. About Dolphin Dolphin Oilfield Equipment Services is an Abu Dhabi (Mussafah) industrial services company serving ADNOC group companies, EGA, Borouge and other oil & gas, power and industrial clients across the UAE. We manufacture, service and retube heat exchangers, execute EPC-stage site works, and deliver shutdown and turnaround maintenance campaigns onshore and offshore.<br>The Role We are hiring a Junior Planning Engineer to run project scheduling in Primavera P6: build schedules with our engineers, update them weekly with real site progress, and produce the S-curves and progress reports our projects and invoicing run on. You will be trained inside our planning system and supported by senior engineers — we expect P6 capability and discipline, not ten years of experience.<br>What You Will Do• Build and maintain project schedules in Primavera P6 (WBS, logic, calendars, baselines) from engineer inputs.• Run the weekly progress-update cycle across live projects; collect progress data from site engineers.• Produce S-curves, manpower histograms and progress measurement supporting client reports and invoicing.• Resource-load schedules and issue two-week look-aheads to site teams.• Flag slippage against baseline early with clear variance notes.• Support tender-stage schedules with our estimation team.• Maintain planning templates and the schedule library.<br>What We Are Looking For• B.
