Key Responsibilities – Emergency Medicine• Provide rapid assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients presenting with acute medical, surgical, and traumatic conditions in the emergency department.• Stabilise patients experiencing life-threatening emergencies, including cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and trauma-related conditions.• Perform emergency medical procedures such as airway management, intubation, resuscitation, wound management, fracture stabilisation, and procedural sedation.• Lead and participate in advanced life support and resuscitation efforts, including cardiac arrest management and trauma response.• Utilise diagnostic tools such as point-of-care testing, imaging, and laboratory investigations to support rapid clinical decision-making.• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and specialist physicians to ensure appropriate patient admission, referral, or discharge planning.• Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation and electronic medical records in accordance with regulatory and institutional standards.• Ensure adherence to evidence-based emergency care protocols and patient safety guidelines.• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and emergency preparedness programs.• Support efficient patient flow and triage processes to optimise emergency department performance and patient outcomes.• Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, ethical medical practice standards, and hospital policies.
