<br><p>To lead a team fabricators, welders and helpers and ensures timely, quality and safe execution of piping and structures in accordance to piping classes and quality control requirements. To participate in the long and short term planning for major welding repair works which are related mainly to static equipment’s (Vessels, Boilers, Furnaces, Tanks, Coolers and Heat Exchangers) as part of the cross-functional team.</p><br><p><strong><u>ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</u></strong></p><p>2.1 Supervision of execution of piping installation and modification based on production requirements, construction codes and environmental restrictions.</p><p>2.2 Working knowledge of piping, fitting, valves and common equipment’s to the specific type of process.</p><p>2.3 Familiarization with welding process / techniques and welding defects.</p><p>2.4 Cooperation / dealing with quality control team to do non-destructive test for welding joints.</p><p>2.5 Working knowledge of codes and Standards ANSI, ASME, ASTM, AWS, API etc. relevant to fabrication and welding works in the context of pressure vessels, piping and structures.</p><p>2.6 Working knowledge of various NDT examinations relevant to fabrication and welding of pressure piping, vessels and structures</p><p>2.7 Maintenance and major repairing for Heat Exchangers, Coolers, Valves, Reactors.</p><p>2.8 Participates in the shutdown jobs and preparing the time scheduling plan for the projects under execution.</p><p>2.9 Provide technical advice and guidance on all related piping works.</p><p>2.10 Supervision of the different stages of the projects being executed.</p><p>2.11 Working knowledge of specific mechanical elements such as gears, bearing, springs and the like.</p><p>2.12 Provides advice on modification and installation of mechanical, stationary and rotating equipment, prepares cost estimates for repair projects and manages such projects till satisfactory conclusion.</p><p>2.13 Personally carries out complex jobs of piping fabrication and installation in the field of gas and petrochemical area.</p><p>2.14 Supervises machinery work equipment parts and spares for turbines, compressors and other rotating and stationary equipment, using variety of machinery equipment including lathes; Main Accountabilities
The QHSE Inspector is responsible for carrying out daily Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) activities across company operations. The role includes conducting site inspections and monitoring operational activities to ensure compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and applicable local regulations.
The QHSE Inspector supports site operations by identifying hazards, reporting unsafe conditions and acts, promoting safe work practices, and assisting with incident investigations. Main tasks
- Support in the creation, implementation of QHSE management systems, processes and procedures to support business operations in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 & OSHAD-SF.
- Communicates information on the QHSE Management System throughout the organisation and promotes HSE awareness through various communication channels i.e. TBT, inductions, training, campaigns, flyers, discussions, emails etc. in consultation with all relevant departments.
- Prepare QHSE documentation for clients/projects as per the requirements and in consultation with the BD / Operations team.
- Undertake QHSE inspections internally and with third parties (contractors) as per the approved inspection program of the company.
- Follow up on the preventive and / or corrective actions identified during the inspections and monitors the timely closing of the actions in coordination with other departments.
- Develops, facilitate and review QHSE Method Statements, Risk assessments for routine and non-routine activities in consultation with the operations team.
- Record QHSE key performance indicators on a monthly basis and issue reports as necessary. Suggest and advise changes to ensure continuous improvement on any additional effective KPIs to be added in the system as part of continual improvement.
- Develops, implements and encourages the behavioural based safety culture in the organization through safe job observations and top management inspections.
- Perform daily walk throughs in VERS facilities and / or in VERS clients’ premises to monitor and promote a safe workplace.
- Support other QHSE staff and contract managers as and when required.
- Actively participate in the HSE incident investigations and prepare required reports in consultation with management.
