We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Safety Engineer with proven experience in the construction industry, particularly in steel structure projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations while supporting the planning, execution, and successful completion of projects across the UAE.<br>Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with project HSE plans, UAE safety regulations, and client requirements. Prepare and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS). Identify hazards associated with construction activities such as working at height, excavation, lifting operations, and hot works. Conduct safety induction for new workers. Train workers on PPE usage, emergency procedures, and safe work practices. Review and monitor PTW for high-risk activities (confined spaces, lifting, hot work, etc.). Ensure permits are properly issued, validated, and closed after completion. Investigate accidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions. Prepare incident reports with root cause analysis and corrective actions. Ensure all workers are provided with and correctly using PPE (helmets, gloves, harnesses, etc.). Inspect safety equipment such as scaffolding, lifting gear, fire extinguishers, and machinery safety devices. Maintain HSE records including inspection reports, audit reports, training records, and incident logs. Ensure emergency response plans are in place and communicated. Conduct emergency drills (fire, evacuation, rescue operations). Coordinate with first aid teams and emergency responders.
