The Senior Construction Supervisor – Instrumentation is responsible for supervising and coordinating all instrumentation construction activities related to oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, LNG, and EPC projects. The role ensures that instrumentation installation, testing, calibration, loop checking, and pre-commissioning activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and approved schedules. Key Responsibilities Construction Supervision <ul><li>Supervise all instrumentation construction and installation activities at site.</li><li>Ensure work is carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, procedures, and project standards.</li><li>Monitor installation of field instruments, analyzers, transmitters, control valves, gauges, switches, and instrumentation systems.</li><li>Coordinate construction activities with Electrical, Mechanical, Piping, Civil, and Commissioning teams.</li><li>Verify daily construction progress and adherence to project schedules.</li></ul>Instrumentation Installation <ul><li>Supervise installation and hook-up of: <ul><li>Pressure, Temperature, Flow, and Level Instruments</li><li>Control Valves and On-Off proper routing and installation of instrument tubing, impulse lines, and supports.</li><li>Monitor cable laying, glanding, termination, and continuity testing activities.</li></ul>Testing & Commissioning Support <ul><li>Supervise calibration and functional testing of instruments.</li><li>Coordinate loop checking, logic testing, and system verification activities.</li><li>Support pre-commissioning and commissioning teams during plant startup activities.</li><li>Ensure punch-list items are addressed and closed before system handover.</li><li>Participate in system walkdowns and mechanical completion activities.</li></ul>Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) <ul><li>Promote and enforce company and client HSE policies.</li><li>Ensure all instrumentation activities are conducted safely and in compliance with permit-to-work systems.</li><li>Conduct toolbox talks, safety audits, and site inspections.</li><li>Monitor compliance during energized work, confined space entry, work at height, and hazardous area activities.</li><li>Immediately intervene and rectify unsafe conditions or practices.</li></ul>Quality Assurance & Control <ul><li>Ensure installations comply with project specifications, datasheets, and international standards.</li><li>Coordinate inspections with QA/QC and client representatives.</li><li>Verify completion of inspection checklists, test records, and quality documentation.</li><li>Monitor NCRs, site observations, and corrective actions.</li><li>Ensure proper documentation and turnover dossiers are maintained.</li></ul>Planning & Coordination
