This role is pure technical ownership architecture, stack, infrastructure, and team are yours to define and build from Day 1.<br>RESPONSIBILITIES<br>• Design and ship a multi-tenant Saa S architecture with row-level data isolation, RBAC, and column-level PII encryption compliant with UAE PDPL and regional data residency requirements• Build and own a bi-directional event-driven sync layer sub-5s propagation, 1,000+ events/second throughput, with failure recovery and event replay logic• Engineer a configurable financial computation engine waterfall logic, retroactive recalculation across open records, VAT handling, and a fully auditable immutable transaction ledger• Integrate and productionise multiple LLM pipelines context-aware prompt engineering, batch generation jobs, streaming responses, and session-scoped inference across thousands of concurrent users• Architect a third-party messaging API integration layer designed for platform-dependency abstraction and graceful fallback• Build the engineering function from 0 hiring, code standards, CI/CD, and technical roadmap ownership post-funding<br>QUALIFICATIONS <br>Must-have:• Problem solving mindset• Production experience with multi-tenant B2B Saa S, you've owned the data isolation layer, not just worked near it• Strong backend in Node.js/Type Script or Python (Fast API/Django)• Postgre SQL at depth RLS, indexing strategy, schema design for high-write workloads• Redis for caching and real-time state management• Event-driven architecture message queues (Bull MQ, SQS, or Kafka), pub/sub patterns, idempotent consumers• LLM API integration in a shipped product (Open AI, Anthropic, or equivalent)• PWA or React/Next.js frontend with offline-first capability<br>Nice-to-have:• Messaging platform API integration (webhook handling, template management, delivery state machines)• Cloud infrastructure on AWS me-south-1 or UAE North regions• Experience building financial or commission calculation engines with audit trail requirements• Prior co-founder or founding engineer experience at an early-stage startup<br>Compensation & Benefits<br>• Equity: 40-50% | 4-year vest | 1-year cliff | double-trigger acceleration• Salary: AED 5,000–10,000/month pre-funding → AED 35,000–50,000/month post-seed• Perks: Full architectural ownership, clean-slate V2 build, comprehensive domain and functional documentation from Day 1, and a business co-founder who handles GTM, partnerships, and fundraising entirely<br>Company Culture<br>Small team.
