<p>We are recruiting for a Director of Engineering, Platform to join a confidential next generation eVTOL aerospace programme based in Dubai. Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will lead the engineering organisation for the Platform stream, ensuring successful delivery from early architecture through certification and into production.
This is a senior leadership role focused on programme execution, engineering operations and people leadership rather than hands on technical design. Working alongside the Chief Engineer, Platform, you will ensure engineering teams have the structure, resources and governance needed to deliver against programme milestones.

Professional certifications such as Society of Broadcast Engineers (SBE), Cisco CCNP/CCIE, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, PMP, ITIL, SMPTE certifications, or equivalent are preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in broadcast engineering, media technology, transmission engineering, network engineering, audiovisual systems, or related roles. At least 2 years of experience managing broadcast engineering teams, media infrastructure projects, technical operations, or enterprise broadcast environments preferred. Strong understanding of television and radio broadcasting, IP media networks, SMPTE standards, SDI/IP workflows, OTT streaming, cloud broadcasting, RF systems, signal processing, cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and engineering project management.
