<p><strong>Job Summary:</strong><br></p><p>The Facility Engineer (MEP) is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and improvement of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the facility. This role ensures that all MEP systems are functioning efficiently, safely, and in compliance with applicable codes and standards. The Facility Engineer will coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to oversee inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities.<br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><br></p><p><strong>Operation & Maintenance</strong><br></p><p>Supervise and coordinate the daily operations and preventive maintenance of all MEP systems, including HVAC, fire protection, water supply, drainage, electrical systems, and backup generators.</p><p>Ensure uninterrupted functioning of critical services such as air conditioning, lighting, power distribution, and water systems.<br></p><p><strong>Troubleshooting & Repair</strong><br></p><p>Diagnose faults in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and recommend/implement corrective actions.</p><p>Respond promptly to emergency calls related to system failures or malfunctions.<br></p><p><strong>Compliance & Safety</strong><br></p><p>Ensure all MEP systems comply with local codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.</p><p>Conduct routine inspections and audits to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.<br></p><p><strong>Vendor & Contractor Coordination</strong><br></p><p>Manage third-party service providers and contractors for maintenance, repair, or upgrade works.</p><p>Review technical submittals, drawings, and method statements related to MEP systems.<br></p><p><strong>Documentation & Reporting</strong><br></p><p>Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, service logs, equipment manuals, and inspection reports. Generate reports on system performance, downtime, maintenance costs, and improvement plans.<br></p><p><strong>Energy Management</strong><br></p><p>Monitor energy and utility usage; recommend improvements to increase energy efficiency and reduce operating costs.</p><p>Assist in the planning and implementation of energy-saving initiatives.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><br><ul><li><p>3–5 years of experience in facilities management or MEP operations, preferably in commercial or industrial buildings.</p></li><li><p>Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical distribution, fire safety, water systems).</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, DEWA, local regulations).</p></li><li><p>Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and Building Management Systems (BMS).</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergencies after hours if required.<br></p></li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Certifications:</strong><br></p><ul><li><p>Certified Facility Manager (CFM) – optional</p></li><li><p>LEED Accreditation – optional</p></li><li><p>Safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA)</p></li></ul>

<p>Organize, confirm, process, and conduct all guest check-ins/check-outs, room reservations, requests, changes, and cancellations. Secure payment; verify and adjust billing. Activate and file room keys. Process all guest requests and relay messages. Print contingency lists to have a record of all guests in case of emergency.</p>
<p>Identify and explain room features to guests; supply guests with directions and information regarding property amenities, services, and hours of operation, and local areas of interest. Follow up on any outstanding requests or problems from the previous day and ensure they are resolved. Run and review daily reports/logs. Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system. Accept and record wake-up call requests and deliver to appropriate department.</p>
<p>Count bank at beginning and end of shift; secure bank. Process all payment types, adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, correction vouchers, and miscellaneous charges; provide change. Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any guest reports of theft.</p>

The Role We are looking for an experienced Conference Producer to design and deliver the conference programme for new co-located conference, working in close coordination with our government partner and industry stakeholders. This role owns the shape, substance and quality of the programme — from theme and session design through to speaker curation and on-site delivery — ensuring it reflects government priorities while delivering genuine value and insight to delegates. The successful candidate will be a confident researcher and relationship-builder, comfortable engaging senior government officials, C-suite executives and subject matter experts to build an authoritative, high-quality programme. Key Responsibilities Programme Development Design the overall conference programme structure, themes and session formats in close coordination with the government partner and Content Project Manager. Conduct research into market trends, government priorities and industry developments to shape a relevant, timely agenda. Develop session concepts, panel topics, keynote themes and format innovations that engage target delegate audiences. Ensure the programme reflects the strategic objectives and messaging priorities agreed with the government partner. Speaker & Content Curation Identify, research and secure high-quality speakers, panellists and moderators, including government officials, developers, investors and subject matter experts. Manage speaker relationships from invitation through to on-site delivery, including briefing, presentation review and logistics coordination. Draft speaker briefs, session outlines, moderator guides and programme copy for use in marketing and delegate-facing materials. Liaise with the government partner on speaker approvals, protocol requirements and content sign-off. Government & Stakeholder Coordination Work closely with the government partner's team to align programme content, speaker selection and session themes with their objectives. Attend planning meetings and workshops with government stakeholders to gather input and present programme proposals. Manage feedback and revision cycles with government stakeholders through to final programme sign-off. Cross-Functional Delivery Work with the Marketing Manager to ensure programme content supports marketing and delegate acquisition campaigns. Work with the Conference Operations Manager to ensure the programme is deliverable within the agreed conference room, format and technical set-up. Provide programme content and speaker information in good time to support marketing collateral, signage and delegate communications. Support on-site delivery of the programme, managing speakers, timings and content changes in real time. Qualities & Skills Required4+ years' experience producing conference programmes, ideally within B2B events, exhibitions or government-partnered forums. Strong research skills and genuine interest in real estate, urban development, investment or related sectors. Proven ability to secure and manage senior-level and government speakers. Excellent writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, compelling programme and speaker copy. Confident, professional communicator, comfortable engaging senior government and industry stakeholders. Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple sessions and speakers simultaneously. Calm and adaptable under pressure, including on-site during live delivery. Desirable Experience producing conferences in the GCC or wider Middle East. Existing network of real estate, urban development or investment sector contacts in Qatar or the wider region. Experience working directly with government protocol requirements. Arabic language skills are desirable.

<p>Our Main Contracting Client has a new requirement for a number of well experienced QA QC Engineer to join their team in Dubai to work on high profile new high rise towers and new build villa masterplan projects. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Civil QA QC Engineer working on high profile projects in the UAE with prior experience in working for recognised Main Contracting Companies
This role is available for immediate joining and is hiring on a temporary to permanent basis as an initial 6 month contract position, outsourced through J10 Consulting, with the option to transfer to staff after 6 months to suit all parties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Accountable for the quality and workmanship of every activity, precise knowledge of all aspects of engineering construction relating to Civil, Architectural and Structural discipline interfacing the multidisciplinary processes.
• Responsible for QA/QC documents of the complete project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other important QA/QC documents.
• Develop and determine all standards to perform inspection and tests on all procedures and oversee all testing methods and maintain high standards of quality for all processes.
• Review quality of all materials at the site and ensure compliance with all project specifications and quality and collaborate with the department for all material procurement and maintain a quality of materials.

Job description:SAPTECH is a fast-growing specialist contractor delivering waterproofing, GRP lining, flooring and protective coating solutions across the UAE. We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented and technically competent Technical Coordinator to support our tendering, technical documentation and project coordination activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in assisting the Division Manager by coordinating tender submissions, preparing technical documentation, liaising with suppliers and consultants and ensuring efficient document control throughout the project lifecycle.
