<p><h4>Position summary</h4>
<p>The senior manager, design – premium & select MEA supports the delivery of design activities across Marriott International’s premium and select portfolio in the Middle East & Africa. Reporting to the senior director, premium & select MEA, the role is responsible for providing design oversight on managed, franchised, and company-owned projects to ensure quality control, brand compliance, and operational alignment.</p>
<p>The position supports multiple projects of varying scope and complexity, contributing to feasibility assessments, design development, and project execution while collaborating with development, brand, and operations teams. of diverse customer segments.</li><li>Extensive knowledge of seafood products, trading processes, sourcing models, procurement practices, suppliers, customers, distributors, and international seafood markets.</li><li>Strong experience in seafood procurement and sourcing, including supplier identification, vendor management, price negotiation, purchasing, and supply chain coordination.</li><li>Established UAE seafood customer base and a strong customer database that has been developed and maintained through years of industry experience.</li><li>Strong existing customer list including seafood buyers, importers, distributors, wholesalers, retailers, restaurants, hotels, and B2B and B2C customers within the UAE.</li><li>Established personal business relationships and direct connections with key seafood industry customers, with demonstrated ability to generate immediate sales opportunities.</li><li>Strong network of seafood suppliers, exporters, vendors, and sourcing partners worldwide, covering multiple product categories and regions.</li><li>Experience maintaining and developing customer databases, supplier lists, vendor contact records, and broader market networks for ongoing commercial use.</li><li>Proven ability to develop new markets, acquire new customers, and generate new business opportunities within the seafood trading and distribution ecosystem.</li><li>Strong skills in sales planning, forecasting, pipeline management, reporting, and KPI monitoring to guide commercial decisions and performance management.</li><li>Excellent negotiation and communication skills with customers, suppliers, distributors, and business partners in both domestic and international contexts.</li><li>Ability to set realistic yet challenging sales targets, develop sales strategies, monitor performance, and achieve defined revenue objectives consistently.</li><li>Proven experience in achieving sales targets and driving measurable business growth in seafood trading or closely related industries.</li><li>Experience in managing, training, motivating, and monitoring sales teams to ensure alignment with company objectives and performance
