This role is designed for an academic leader who prefers to design the system rather than critique it from the outside. You bring subject-matter fluency sufficient to recognize high-quality learning, the rigor to translate that insight into rubrics and AI-enabled quality controls, and the pragmatism to act decisively on incomplete data. Student improvement matters to you, and you accept accountability for it.

2 Hour Learning pursues an objective most software and education organizations avoid. Teachers, textbooks, and conventional instructional scaffolding are absent. AI serves as the core operating model. In this position, you apply it to produce and refine learning content, architect interventions, oversee quality assurance, and advance platform capabilities. The tempo resembles high-performance environments in technology, consulting, or finance more than traditional schooling, and you gain direct ownership of subject-specific student outcomes across multiple campuses.

This position centers on leading a function. You will construct AI-driven enhancements to learning ecosystems, react to student performance indicators through targeted interventions, compile evidence-based decision documentation, and lead a team evaluated against explicit benchmarks tied to MAP, AP, SAT, and ISEE performance. You will collaborate extensively with product, engineering, and data science to shape platform priorities. This role suits someone who instinctively leverages AI, conducts independent analysis, delivers amid uncertainty, and assumes full ownership of results. It will not suit those who favor consensus-driven timelines, minimal accountability, or reliance on established systems.

You will serve as a central leader within the academics team, wielding meaningful influence over subject performance and broader learning system evolution. Colleagues will depend on your standards, judgment, and capacity to translate student data into actionable steps. If that prospect feels energizing rather than daunting, this role is likely designed for you.

What You Will Be Doing

Learning Ecosystem Enhancements — AI-generated refinements to K–12 subject-specific learning experiences spanning content, adaptive pathways, and student interventions, shaped by student feedback, analytics, assessments, and coaching insights. Data-Driven Academic Interventions — Focused intervention strategies for underperforming students or groups, informed by MAP, AP, SAT, ISEE, and comparable performance metrics. Student Performance Decision Records — Replicable, evidence-backed decisions that document actions taken to improve student performance, supported by dashboards, analytics, tickets, surveys, coaching sessions, and assessment data. Learning Ecosystem Improvement Specs — Actionable specifications for product, engineering, and data science initiatives, featuring problem definitions, supporting evidence, anticipated student impact, and acceptance criteria.

What You Won’t Be Doing

Repackaging traditional education in an AI wrapper. This is not about replicating classroom teaching through digital screens – we are fundamentally rethinking learning from first principles. Analyzing data in isolation. Regular interaction with K-12 students is expected, treating their feedback as critical input from our paying customers. Waiting for consensus to push boundaries. You will advocate for a bold vision and mobilize others around data-driven outcomes. Sticking to conventional methods.
