We’re hiring our first dedicated Business Operations Manager to take ownership of day-to-day operations for LumiWorks and help provide similar support to our client businesses. Until now, the Founder has handled this work directly.

The Role
You will manage finance administration, payments, company documentation, team operations and relationships with external service providers.
You’ll work directly with the Founder, who sets priorities and approves major decisions. You will research options, make recommendations and carry out the agreed plan, keeping work moving and flagging issues early.
You don’t need to know every banking product, jurisdiction, optimal payment processors, or business process on day one. You do need to be comfortable learning unfamiliar subjects, checking your work and knowing when to seek specialist advice.
Responsibilities
- Research and compare banks, electronic money institutions and payment processors, considering eligibility, fees, foreign exchange costs and operational requirements.
- Coordinate account applications and onboarding, including preparing KYC/KYB documentation and following up on outstanding requirements.
- Help client businesses evaluate payment providers, expand local payment methods and identify opportunities to improve payment acceptance.
- Coordinate payroll, contractor payments and Employer of Record providers, ensuring payments are accurate, approved and completed on time.

(Mandatory) </p></li><li><p>Minimum 7 years post-qualification experience in a finance role. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Minimum 3 years UAE / Gulf (GCC) experience. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Prior experience in construction / fitout / contracting – strongly preferred. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Background with a Big 4 / large audit firm – added advantage. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Hands-on experience with ERP system<strong>s </strong>and familiarity with AI-enabled finance tools. </p></li></ul><br><p><strong>Skills & Competencies</strong> </p><ul><li><p>Strong technical command of IFRS and relevant contracting standards. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Practical knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing and VAT. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Excellent financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting and MIS capabilities. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Solid grasp of treasury, cash flow and working-capital management. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Confident with ERP platforms and digitalisation of finance processes. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Strong leadership, people-management and stakeholder-management skills. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Excellent communication skills – able to translate financial data for non-finance stakeholders such as project managers. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Commercial mindset, high attention to detail, and ability to perform under deadline pressure across multiple concurrent projects. </p><br></li></ul><p><strong>Preferred / Added Advantage</strong> </p><ul><li><p>Big 4 or large audit-firm training. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Direct fitout / interior contracting exposure. </p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Experience implementing or upgrading ERP systems. </p></li></ul>
